The Space

Gioia House is a small and cozy guesthouse.

Gioia House is located in Milan's Porta Venezia, in a typical "casa di ringhiera." A few steps away, the main tourist attractions of the city of Milan. The Duomo, Piazza Scala, Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga,
Corso Buenos Aires, Castello Sforzesco can be reached in a few minutes by walking.

The house and the rooms are furnished in a vintage style. A shabby style kitchen where to start your day with a good breakfast and a small terrace with flowering plants and fruit trees to relax. On the second floor, a relaxing room with a comfortable sofa and a reading corner with books in different languages.

When you are in Gioia House you will feel like living in a country house… in Milan downtown.

  • Mariagrazia was a great host! She was always available for help and recommendations. The location was great, lots of shops and good restaurants and right near the metro and tram stations. The room was just like the picture, very clean, many outlets, fast wifi and the kitchen was stocked with tea, cookies, coffee and snacks for breakfast.

  • This was our first Airbnb experience, and it was wonderful! Mariagrazia was a great host, both in sending us helpful transit related information prior to our arrival, and being a warm, friendly, inviting presence during our stay. The space was great: cozy room with everything we needed, with a great kitchen and dining space, including a peasant patio. The neighborhood is fantastic, with easy access to the metro, and easy walking distance to Duomo, public parks, restaurants/bars/shops on Corso Buenos Aires (while also somehow being very quiet, given its central location). Everything was as advertised, there were no unpleasant surprises. It was very hard to leave at the end of our stay!

  • The room and apartment were great, and Mariagrazia was lovely! Everything was clean, and breakfast included lots of options (fresh fruit, bread/rolls, jams/nutella, yogurt) in a spacious kitchen. Easy to get to from the Milan Centrale train station, with lots of fun sights and neighborhoods close by.

  • House was more beautiful than pictures suggest. Rooms have charm & are clean. Everything was as promised, & home is centrally located. We were able to walk to several cool neighborhoods in under 15 minutes. Mariagrazia was responsive & helpful.

  • Mariagrazia was very sympathetic and flexible with arrival time as we arrived at 11.00 pm.
The guesthouse is simple but very well located. Another positive point is that your room is cleaned everyday and the breakfast can help you starting the day.
