I had excellent service from Aicha and her staff! My pick up at the bus station was seamless and I was offered coffee on my arrival. The riad was beautiful and charming with many details making it a lovely stay. The meal was tasty and the air con worked on the hot day. Wish I could have stayed longer!!!
Staying at Riad Aida was an excellent experience. Getting to the Riad from the Airport was seamless; there was a driver waiting to get me right to my room. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was elegant, with traditional architecture, lights, and a beautiful rug. The neighborhood provided a true Moroccan city experience and was not far from the the center of the city and near good locations to catch taxis. In addition, there is a great cafe, Cafe Clock, less than five minutes away. This was a great place to have lunch, look at good art, and hear great storytelling.
The hosts at the riad were very lovely and the space is comfortable. They did everything they could to make my stay comfortable and to fix any problems.
Such a great stay at Dar Aida! Aicha and her husband greeted me warmly and have me mint tea. The room was very cute and comfortable and clean as is the rest of the riad. The manager Muhammed was so accomodating and helpful. They let me leave my bags over night while I went on a desert excursion. It was a very nice experience and I highly recommend it.
I came back for another day after returning from a desert excursion. They welcomed me and also let me keep my bags there again as my train didn't leave until the evening of checkout day. Everyone is super nice, the location is convenient, very close to the Saidien tombs. Lovely stay. Would recommend highly!
My stay was as great as I expected. I enjoyed staying in the heart of the Kasbah neighborhood of Marrakesh that was convenient and quiet. The three employees who welcomed me every day anew, served me a hearty breakfast and helped me organize a day trip to the Ourika valley were VERY kind. Communication with the owners was good, too. I had asked for the warmest possible room and was glad to find a warm blanket on my bed. Unfortunately the AC/heater didn't really get me warm though and also the lovely courtyard and the rooftop were temperature-wise not inviting at this time of the year. So I was kind of forced to spend my reading and relaxing hours in the heated patios of other hotels, riads and restaurants - or in a Hammam (there are several in walking distance). But again: excellent price, good location, friendly people, charming architecture. Very basically equipped - but pure luxury compared to many local people's houses. I'll be back ... in a warm month!
I had a great stay with Aicha. The rooms are nice and clean and the breakfast delicious. You can find cheaper and closer to the Medina if you prefer, bit I liked being somewhere quiet and the advice I got was good and genuine (no attempts at hard sales).
