Unbelievable views in the most perfect spot in Imlil, right at the center of the Toubkal mountains. Omar is a tremendous host and his wife's cooking is spectacular, perfect for every meal looking out over the valley. A bit chilly at night (in March), but I wish we could've stayed a month.

Very hospitable family. Nice, quiet and spacious house. We really enjoyed our stay, and the lovely cooking! It is a bit hard to find though.

A relaxed, generous and friendly family to stay with - we highly recommend here. The place is just a short walk up the hill, Omar or his contact will meet you on the road to show you the way. The place is small with just two guest bedrooms, and two large comfortable living areas. The breakfast is really generous and different each day. I really recommend eating evening dinner here during your stay as well. It was real Moroccan home cooking. Finally, Omar and his family are excellent hosts. When we were wet and cold from walking in the rain he brought us to his family space and we sat by the fire. I recommend this place if you are visiting Imlil, but especially if you are going walking, or mountaineering. If you are going to the mountains in winter, as we did, bring your warmest clothes, as well as your sunglasses and sun cap!

Great experience. We were welcomed with tea and homemade cookies. Very welcoming host who is good in english and eager to help with planning your route around Imlil and Toubkal. Even though the annonce says it is a ensuite, the room has a private bathroom. The bulding has a roof terrace with a great view, a little above many of the other hotels and riyads in Imlil. We were offered a full homemade meal for 100 Dirhams, which may sound a little steep, but it's really worth it. We were made the best Tajine we tried on our entire trip in Marocco. Truly an authentic meal. Only negative about the place is that it is hard to find. Ask your way as you arrive in Imlil. A few helping signs to guide wouldn't hurt.

Great Apartment for two wonderful nights! Omar was great to us! He was very friendly and helpful. The Apartment was clean. The Couscous and tea was the best on our whole trip through Morocco :-). Thank you Omar!

In januari we stayed 2 nights in Dar Amalou Guest House and it was amazing! Omar took really good care of us and he is a great best cook; maked us great breakfeast, lunch and diner. He showed us around in the village and told a lot about the history. He took us for a 2 our walk, which was really beautiful and interesting. Besides that he gave us advice for a day-hike (5 ours), which was beautiful. We really enjoyed staying with Omar and his lovely family. The guest hous is very well decorated and it has a great roofterrace in where you van chill and enjoy the sun. We definitely recommend to stay at Omar's place in Imlil. You wont regret! Omar we wish you all the best
