Cabs or car services can be called by phone. Easy walking to many spots and to the large Fletcher Park across the street.
Other Things to Note
Condo is at the top of a flight of stairs and an elevator is not available. Condo has a great feel to it with original hardwood floors and nice furnishings. Brand new appliances, granite and beautiful cabinetry in the kitchen area - just enough kitchen for a simple meal. Pet friendly!
Please no smoking. Part of the charm is hard-wood floors in the staircase and in the Condo but please take care to walk softly to avoid noise for the residents below. Please be quiet :)
View of Entryway from the Bedroom; Condo is freshly painted throughout with original hardwood flooring.
This was a spontaneous and short trip for me. I was well treated, the location was as advertised and the space clean and efficient. My host treated me well and the stay worked out just as I had hoped. thanks!
Joy was great. She was quick to respond to questions both before and after I booked her condo. The condo was exactly as described, in a convenient location and well appointed. I highly recommend it.
Joy's place was so lovely and she did a great job with the decor. It's a surprisingly big space for a studio and has everything you would need for a weekend getaway. The location is great and very close to all the downtown hotspots:). The only draw backs are the creeky floors and there is no freezer for ice cubes and food. Otherwise, it was a great stay and I would recommend to anyone and stay there again if I ever return to Raleigh!
Joy's place was exactly what we expected. We were passing through Raleigh for an event close by and were able to easily locate and enter the apartment. Joy provided a very detailed description as well as instructions to access the door, park, etc. so we had no trouble at all. The inside was very clean and had plenty of space in the living area for our dog's kennel. We also used the mini fridge to store a few groceries we were carrying. I would definitely stay here again!
We had a wonderful stay at Joy's condo in Raleigh! The condo is in a great location and everything was as described in the listing. The condo is clean and homey, and had everything we needed. Joy was very easy to work with and made checking in and out a breeze. The only thing I'd suggest is adding Wifi to the unit. Other than that, it was perfect for a weekend in Raleigh.
We loved staying at Joy's place. The location is central to everything we wanted to do. Nothing was more than 10 miles away. The place is small but very cozy and homey.
Joy allowed us to bring our dog which makes vacations for us less stressful since we're not worrying about him at home with a pet sitter.
We ate several meals at Cameron Village and all were great a priced affordably. If there on a Saturday, make sure you go to the Farmer's Market. We bought items to make a salad to go with our dinner that night.
The only downside is the fridge is more of a drink fridge with no freezer and no ice maker. But still not a big deal.
Would stay again if in Raleigh.
