ABSOLUTION RANCH is centrally located an hour from Moab and an hour and a 1/2 from Telluride/Ridgway/Ouray, CO. Take a breather and unwind in some of the most spectacular scenery in the southwest...THE GRAND CIRCLE AND THE OUTLAW TRAIL. Forty acres of flowers, fruit trees, Junipers, Pinion Pines, mountains, cactus gardens, and the Manti LaSal National Forest surround the home. Incredible views of red rock mesas and majestic mountains stretch forever. Its a private sanctuary in the old west.

The space
The home is a single level with a great front porch overlooking the Paradox Valley with views clear to the San Juan Mountains. It is a beautiful valley centrally located in Southwest Colorado...just nine miles over the Utah border.
You'll definitely feel like you're in the West!

Guest access
You will have the entire home and property to yourselves. There are three bedrooms, two with queen size beds, one with a double. The kitchen is fully equipped and I supply linens...BUT YOU NEED TO BRING EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO EAT AND DRINK! The City Market in Moab is a great store and has the best prices. The Bedrock Store, which is worth a visit (last stop for Thelma and Louise) has some staples. It about six miles from the house on HWY 90. Naturita is about 25 miles and has a local grocery store, historical museum, a couple of bars, and gas station.

Location

Paradox, Colorado, United States

Tour the canyons and trails of the Paradox Valley and check out pictographs and petroglyphs, they're amazing. There are maps and directions to local attractions. Visit the wonderful towns, Moab, Telluride, Ouray, and Ridgway, and the National Parks, Arches, Canyonlands, and Deadhorse Point....or just sit on the porch with a good book and enjoy the scenery. Bring your mountain bikes and horses, There is a corral area of about 1/2 acre set up for horses. There's a private stock trail on the property so you can leave from the home and ride for hours...the Buckeye Reservoir is about a five-mile ride above the home. Great place to fish or take a swim with or without your dogs and horses. You can also access Buckeye by car using the National Forest Road.

I am a native New Yorker but have been living in Utah and Colorado for over 45 years. I discovered Paradox while living in Telluride, Colorado in the early '70s. I love the Southwest and can't imagine living anywhere else. I am an animal lover and ride the trails all over the area with friends and of course my horse and dog. I do hope you find the Southwest as beautiful as I do...enjoy!
