Our renovation of this historic property respects the rich history and agricultural tradition of the area while offering the best of amenities for our guests.

The open plan kitchen synthesizes a modern farmhouse aesthetic and utility with the beauty of the landscape beyond through French doors leading to a generous back patio. Take in the ever-changing beauty of the landscape. Prepare meals in the state-of-the-art kitchen and enjoy them at our vintage farmhouse table. Our renovation opened up the living room to a light filled double height space with sleeping loft. The decor reflects our passion for design and art - the overall feeling is clean and modern with an eye to honoring the historic past of this special place. Unwind and read by the fireplace, surrounded by plenty of cozy seating. The bedroom looks out onto the farmland beyond and offers a generous king sized bed. En-suite bath is located off the bedroom. An additional downstairs bath offers an oversized shower with rain shower head and slate floors.

Experience spectacular views of the sunset and farm fields from every room. This three-century-old house boasts perfectly manicured lawns, productive farm to table gardens, sprawling hayfields, a woodland forest and much more to discover. Guests can enjoy a walk on one of the most picturesque roads in the area, visiting neighboring cows and horses along the way, take a short drive to Hudson for shops and dining, or just curl up with a book and enjoy the peace and quiet Stuyvesant allows.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire house and surrounding land with woodlands and pond. There is also a garage, with parking for 1 car, in the winter months.

Other things to note
The Stuyvesant House is located on a working farm. We grow specialty produce and flowers and the fields are active in the summer months with the beauty of harvest. We love the long view of the field to the woodland beyond that this property affords. In the early morning and evening the area is abundant with wildlife. Deer, pheasant, bald eagles, herons and a host of other native species call the Farm home. We look forward to welcoming guests who share our sense of place and appreciation for the land and it’s beauty.
