About this listing
This is a lovely, small bedroom. It has a bed, shelves, a desk and a dresser. You'll have a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a washer dryer in a room down the hall. It's about 2 1/2 blocks from Prospect Park and 3 1/2 blocks from the F Train.
My space is very light and it's got everything one person could want, except for a tv. It has a desk, dresser, and a bookshelf, besides having a bed.
Guests will have access to a room on their floor which has a microwave, a fridge and a coffee maker.
Interaction with Guests
I like to say hello if I'm around. And I like to sit down with them when they first come in.
I love Park Slope. And it's incredibly safe. We are
right near a 500 acre park, Prospect Park. We are surrounded by cultural institutions. We are a very tolerant community and our new mayor, Bill DeBlasio comes from our neighborhood.
Yes. We are within a short walk to 3 subway trains- the f, the g, and the r.

Louise was very welcoming and pleasant. I live nearby in the neighborhood and stayed with Louise for 10 days while my apartment could not be occupied. The small room I stayed in is just the basics, but that's what I expected from the description -- she was a gracious host and I'd be happy to stay with her again if the need arose :)
Louise was a lovely host, she was eager to help and very accommodating! The room was perfect for my trip and the location superb! Thank you Louise!
Louise is a very responsive, helpful host. From the first time I contacted her and during my entire stay, she replied quickly to any and all questions, even though she herself was traveling at the time of my stay. She left her home in perfect order, clearing anticipating my stay - everything thoughtfully ready for me. The room was cozy and exactly as pictured, the bathroom clean-- it was all very nice. I would most definitely stay there again.
Louise was a gracious host. Provided a nice tray of snacks and bottled water. Room and private bath were very clean. Bed was comfortable. Perfect location for me.
I stayed at Louise's place for about 3 months and everyday I look forward to going back to the house as it is just so beautiful and peaceful. A great place to relax after work or play from the hustle and bustle of New York City. Louise is a very welcoming, warm and sweet host. A great location with many nice restaurants, safe environment and close to F, G and R trains. I strongly recommend for both short and long term stay.
That was my first airbnb's experience and I just loved it! Louise is a wonderful host and helped me with everything. I felt at home! She is very sweetheart! The room is really cozy and the neighbourhood is also really safe and beautiful. I'm in love with Brooklyn and I hope to be back soon!
After spending time at more than a few airbnb places I must say that Louise is the best host by far! She's interested without being intrusive and while it is her house she'll make you feel at home right away. I definitely plan on coming back to Louise's place when I'm back in New York!

My name is Louise and I live in the house where you will stay. You will have a private bedroom and shared bath on the top floor. I'm a native Brooklynite. I also have a place in northern Italy.
I like to ride my bike, dance, exercise, and walk around the park. I am a jewelry designer and I work out of my house, on the floor below yours.
