About this listing
A sweet little cottage tucked away in the downtown of a vibrant Vermont community. Beautifully renovated, fully equipped, quiet, cool and funky. Featured in Vermont Magazine in 2011.
A 1925 stucco cottage hidden away behind a one-block-long Main Street. The downtown location is convenient to everything, yet it’s private, perched on a steep drop-off near a river, with views of surrounding mountains.
Originally the office for a grist mill, the Little Mill House has undergone a first-class renovation marrying modern systems with reclaimed and salvaged elements. Quiet and cozy, with never-ending on-demand hot water for the extra-deep soaking tub; washer and dryer, microwave, full-sized gas range; sweet and sunny Zen garden. Furnished in ‘vintage-mod-industrial’ style with top-quality organic-cotton bed and bath linens. Featured in the Spring 2011 issue of VERMONT MAGAZINE.
Two bedrooms with full-sized beds, another room with a twin, and a curtained-off area with another twin and under-bed storage. Shared bathing and toilet facilities divided into two rooms: one with toilet and sink, the other with soaking tub/shower and sink. Accommodates four to six people.
The Little Mill House is a strictly smoke-free and pet-free environment. WiFi in the house. No TV. No land line. Parking for two or three cars.

Interaction with Guests
I like to stop in upon or just after arrival, and then check in once or twice during a stay.
A quaint, one-block-long Main Street district is at your doorstep, every convenience walkable. PRYT students note: PRYT center is two minutes walk away. In warm months, some of the states best swimming holes are just a three-minute drive away, or walk to some dipping spots. Easy trail to dramatic overlook begins nearby.
Other Things to Note
This is a small, remote town. Cell phone service can be spotty around here...
This is not a party house -- please respect the home and the neighbors. Six people maximum. Three cars maximum. Having fun and relaxation are mandatory here!
