The Cove n' Jamaica/Button Bay beach Getaway is located on the South Coast of Jamaica. Very tranquil and relaxing.
Just to let you know, The Cove Cornwall ((website hidden)) is taking over Button Bay Beach Getaway Hotel from November this year, which will become The Cove 'n' Jamaica.
The Cove Cornwall is a small boutique hotel in Cornwall in the UK and Button Bay Beach Getaway Hotel will be our first Caribbean outpost. Whiilst we are going to retain the laid back authentic vibe, which make Button Bay so special, we will be bring a little of the "Cove" style with us. We will be adding 4 "funky" Jamaica Beach Shacks perched on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea with your own private terrace. We are going to be exporting some of our legendary service, to create a friendly family friendly, "shabby chic island outpost".
SLEEP: All our rooms are designed with theh same simple and stylish interiors, white walls, white ceramic tile floors, ceiling fans, king size and queen size beds dressed in Egyptian Cotton with a choice of pillows and mosquito nets.
We have 5 different room types available, so depending on how private you wanted to be from your other guests, you could either choose The Villa or a seperate room or one of our new "funky beach shacks" perched on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean.
PLAY: Check out our daily list of activities on our scratch board at the reception desk. There is something for everyone going on everyday, from organised trips to some of Jamaica's most celebrated Tourist Attractions. While having breakfast, you will have to look out for the Dolphins and the sounds and sights of our Humming Birds that suck the nectar from the abundance of plants that surround the area. Before dinner have a drink and watch the sun setting as in a matter of minutes it sinks into the horizon. Watch for the green flash and make a wish .Lunch is generally served down at our Beach Bar and Grill Dinner is served on our Candlelite Upper Terrace, serving a daily changing menu, including a selection of the usual Jamaican favorites.
For our "Little Ones", there is a special menu with great healthy options, everything organic and grown on the proerty, as well as all the produce grown locally.
RELAX: There are 3 wowrds mostly used on this island, they are, "RELAX" and "NO PROBLEM" and at The Cove, we have embraced this whole heartedly and we at The Cove embrace this whole heartedly. For further relaxation, spend the afternoon have our alfresco morning Yoga sessions or maybe a massage at sunset on the "Hot Rock".

Button Bay was quite nice and Gladys and her son were also very friendly. The location is next to beach and they have a nice animal farm nearby. Also, they are eco friendly with windmills and solar panels. The rooms were clean but it appears that the staff overlooked somethings. There was still garbage in the trash cans. The bathroom wasn't cleaned by staff throughouly. Closer attention needs to be paid to cleaning rooms by management because most travelers are hygenically concious.
After leaving Jamaica ay the age of 15, I attended scool in England. I then moved on to Glasgow, Scotland, where I studied as a Cosmotologist.
Returning to Jamaica, I opened my own beauty salon in Kingston. I was married in january 1966. We had our first child Lynda in June 1967, our son came along in September 1968 and our Rebecca came in July of 1975.
In In 1976 we went to live in Canada where I further my studies in Cosmotology. Became interested in the ueses and benefits of Aloe Vera, studied the Chemistry of hair color and chemical products associated with the hair as well as esthetics.
They are all maried and we have 4 grandsons and one grandaughter and they are the light of our life.
I could not live without my business, a cell phone, my computer, a car, seeing the beauty of where we live n Treasure Beach Jamaica and my family.
I love to travel. Orlando, Cayman, Chicago, Canada and Europe.
I am not a big reader but I do like to read about the History of my heritage and the Bible.
I love only comedy movies, Andrew Lloyd Webber shows, Les Misarble, Ballet and I am a classical music junkie. I love chicken cooked Jamaican style.
Having a guest is one of the bigest pleasures in my life. It gives me a great sense of satisfaction to see people come to Button Bay and they are all stressed out and a day or two later they are totally different. They are relaxed, enjoying the property, enjoying the food and mixing with the people in Treasure Beach.
Airbnb hosting is very efficient. I am thrilled with it.
Very easy going. I love people and I am in the perfect business for that. I try my best to make people have a good time at Button Bay and see to it that they have a great time so that they will come back.
My motto is unconditionl Love, Respect, Love never fails.
