We had a lovely stay at this charming apartment centrally located just over the bridge from the city centre. Fiorenza and Elly made us feel like 'part of their family' with a very warm welcome (including some wine and biscotti). Elly provided detailed maps and recommendations on what to do and where to eat like a local. The apartment itself has all the mod cons - fast wifi, good hot water, washing machine and ironing board etc. The kitchen is also quite nicely laid out and has all the basics if you want to cook but we didn't end up doing this. The location is superb.
Elly and Fiorenza (the owner) are both wonderful and lovely! I feel in love with this apartment! Fiorenza had made me a pear tart and had wine from the area they live waiting for me. I stayed for an entire month and I wish I could live there indefinitely!!! This place is a gem. I love love the area. It's perfect. Great coffee shops, markets, places for aperitivo and heavenly restaurants! And its close to the center without being in the chaos. Thank you both for such a wonderful spot and making me feel at home. Keep in touch! I hope to be back :)
We had such a great stay in this lovely apartment! First of all the hosts were so amazingly nice: we were greeted by the owners and Elly. Elly told us everything important there is to know about Florence. Secondly, the place itself was warm and welcoming, very authentic. It looks bigger in real life actually. I have to point out it was also very clean. Thirdly, The location was perfect, 5 minutes walking from ponte vechio and placed in a great neighborhood. We had the chance to get to know the locals, and the real Italian way of life. This apartment is really a gem, thank you for everything!
As I stepped out of the taxi, I heard Fiorenza (the owner) call my name from the apartment window. I looked up to a smiling face and it was all good from there.
What you see in the picture is what you get - there are no surprises.
The apartment is roomy and very very clean. Everything you could need is there and plenty more.
My husband joined me a couple of days later, and we thoroughly enjoyed our three week stay. We had a chance to live like the locales and, unhurried, wander the streets of Florence.
We highly recommend this beautiful Florentine apartment.
We were met first by all three of our hosts who gave us a warm welcome complete with wine, home-made cake, and tons of great information about places to go and things to do. The apartment was spotless, elegant, and well-equipped- hairdryer, iron, washer, internet and all. The location was excellent. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, and the nearby Piazza Santo Spiritu is a friendly, lively place.
We stayed three night at "flower" and felt very comfortable. Elly aswell as the owners were very nice and helpful with all our questions about the flat or the city. Flower is nearby the center and within walking distance from all the main attractions but not in the very touristic circle what we appreciated a lot. Only thing there is to say, that the pictures look much more bright. The flat is darker and also smaller than on the pictures. But we weren't missing anything and its the perfect side for a couple.
We had a very warm and culturally enriching few days in Florence at this wonderful airBnB apartment near the edge of the river and almost touching the Church of San Spirito. the location was absolutely perfect as we packed our days with sight-seeing and wandering the streets of Florence.
Although our flight was delayed - Elly and the owners were there to meet us. The apartment was very comfortable and close to the sights across the river as well as to the Pitti Palace. The location and the restaurants suggested by Elly was spot on for a vacation in Florence. She also gave us tips on a day trip out of Florence. Our best meal was from an osteria round the corner from the apartment - the gnochhi with truffles was the highlight of the meal.
When we were a bit stuck, Elly immediately messaged back with instructions and what to do!
Elly gave us suggestions to beat the usual tourist areas and to discover the real Florence. Our apartment, its location and suggestions from Elly were the reason for a perfect trip to Florence.
