  • My husband and I stayed with Tim and Miriam for four days during Oktoberfest 2013 and it was wonderful! This was our very first Airbnb experience and our first time staying with hosts, so we were definitely a bit nervous before we arrived. However, Tim was extremely responsive and gave perfect directions for getting to the apartment. We arrived as scheduled and Miriam was there to warmly welcome us to Munich! She gave us a tour of the apartment, gave us keys and clean towels, and offered us information about the city. The rooms was comfortable, warm, and felt very private. The bathroom was clean and shower was always nice and hot! We were free to discover the city and come and go as we pleased, but Miriam and Tim were always warm and helpful when we were at the apartment. We couldn't be happier about how everything turned out and about how wonderful our hosts were! Don't hesitate-- stay with Tim and Miriam!

For Oktoberfest-- The apartment was a short 10-15 minute safe walk to the grounds! Perfect! The apartment was also a 5 minute walk to a metro station, which was perfect for our other adventures around the city and our day trip to Dachau.

  • Great room in an unbeatable location for Oktoberfest. Tim & Miriam are welcoming hosts and provided us with some great tips for getting around Munich. Would definitely stay with them again when next in Munich.

    October 2013
  • My partner and I stayed with Tim from 21-27 September during Oktoberfest and had a great time. Tim and his partner were very helpful and gave us heaps of information regarding Munich and Oktoberfest. We didn't fly out until late on 27 September and they let us keep our bags in the apartment for the day and got to keep a key so we could come back when we needed. The bedroom was a good size and while the bathroom was shared with other people this wasn't a problem if you showered early.

The apartment was a short walk to the festivities and was close to the train station as well. We enjoyed our stay here and hope to one day come back to Munich.

  • Tim and Mariam were amazing hosts! They took us out and showed us where to eat and what to see in Munich. They were our favourite hosts in Europe and we hope to see them again some day (soon!). Grateful to have met you guys! You will always be in our thoughts, hope you come visit us in Canada!

    July 2013
  • Excellent stay, Tim and Miriam were fantastically friendly and helpful throughout our time there. A little bit out of the centre, but very easy and quick to get in by train. Their apartment was clean and had everything we could need. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

    July 2013
  • We were made to feel very welcome by Tim & Miriam and they were helpful in all respects.
The room was light and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Thank you Tim & Miriam, hope we can stay with you both another time.

  • Very clean, very cozy room. Tim and Miri were very gracious hosts and are a wealth of travel knowledge. The apartment is easy to find and there's free parking!
My husband and I had a great time in Munich for a weekend getaway staying with them. It's an easy, quick walk to a subway station or you can hop on a bus to get closer to the center from their place. Miri and Tim will be happy to show you the way and point you in the direction of some great things to see. We look forward to returning to the city and this is a great place to stay.

  • Tim´s home was really closed to OktoberFest that was what we were looking for. Tim and his girldfriend were really nice with us, giving good advice and recommendations.
