  • We recently stayed at Emiliano's apartment in Florence. Firstly, I want to say that the service received from Emiliano and his family was fantastic. We had some problems with the heating and they were very prompt at coming to fix it for us. It was very important since we were travelling with our 4 month old son who was unfortunately quite sick when we were travelling.

There was nothing fancy about the apartment, but it had all the necessities. The garden was nice we had few nice glasses of wine out there during our stay. Emiliano was also nice enough to provide a pack and play for our baby to sleep in. A couple complaints we had was the apartment felt very damp and there was a strange smell in the bedroom.

We enjoyed the location though, all the ammenities we needed within a block or two. A couple nice restaurants and still walking distance to all the attractions in Florence.

  • Elisabetta, the mother of Emiliano and Giacomo, is a very gracious host who made our stay comfortable and delightful. She was quick to communicate with us, and met us when we arrived. The apartment was clean, cozy and charming! When the weather was good, we enjoyed the little courtyard terrace and garden, in spite of the voracious mosquitos (bring repellant!). The bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed cooking and "eating in", as there were good markets very close by. The flat is within easy walking distance of all the sights, and the neighborhood itself was a very nice place. We enjoyed the nearby osterias very much! We would definitely love to return to this apartment!

  • We loved this apartment, particularly the garden out back. Everything you could need is provided. The location was great. Out of the main tourist areas but still within easy walking distance to the main tourist sites. We were provided with excellent information for our stay in Firenzi including local restaurants. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone intending to visit Firenzi and the Tuscan hinterland. Thank you

  • We arrived a bit earlier than we expected, but someone came shortly to help us check-in which we appreciated. We found the apartment a bit smaller and darker than we expected, and the kitchen was pretty basic. Some additional kitchen equipment would have been helpful. The electrical wiring in the whole apartment made me a bit nervous, but everything worked as needed. An air conditioning unit would definitely improve the experience. The patio outside the bedroom was pleasant, but the mosquitoes were not, so we stayed mostly inside. The sofabed, which we did use, needs some repair. On a more positive note, transportation is very convenient, and there are many good shops and restaurants close by.

  • Thanks for a very nice welcome. Lovely garden. Flat could've been been a little cleaner, though. Location: Super central, everything in walking distance and on top of that many nice little shops in the area South of the river. We'd definitely come again!

  • People shouldn't hesitate to book this apartment - we stayed for three nights and everything was great, just as described on Airbnb. It's a peaceful spot, even though it's close to the town centre, and is a cool refuge after a long day out. True, there are mosquitoes in the garden as other people have mentioned, but we sat outside in the nice little garden with spray protection and weren't really troubled. Comfortable bed, well equipped, easy to get to from the train station, friendly and helpful host (Elisabetta)....we would certainly book again :)

The flat is located near the historical center but outside the "tourist zone", so you can easily find lots of nice shops and good places to eat...
We particularly enjoyed the garden and the pizzeria next door (delicious and very cheap), a great alternative to dining out when you have been exploring Florence all day!
    Grazie mille Elisabetta :)
