Superb 1 bedroom apartment (30 sqm) in the heart of Marais.
Just refurbished in June 2011, it is located in the tourist's most demanded area, and more precisely in the pedestrian rue des Rosiers number 44, 350 m from metro "Saint Paul", 650 from metro "Hôtel de Ville" and 250 m from "Franprix" supermarket.
During the last ten years, the Rue des Rosiers has become notable for fashion. The quaint boutiques of days-gone-by have given way to gleaming minimalist showrooms for some of Europe’s trendiest labels. Not following the Western holiday schedules, Rue des Rosier shops have become the meeting point for Parisians who want to eat out and shop on Sunday, Christmas or during any off days.

As fotos e descrição do apartamento correspondem exatamente à realidade. Tinhamos tudo o que precisávamos para passar dias agradáveis com uma localização (website hidden) bares, lojas e restaurantes à porta... Queremos logo voltar à Paris e se possível ficar novamente neste apartamento.
I rented the apartment and stayed there for 12 days. The location is excellent. For the Brazilians, it was like staying at Lablon, in Rio de Janeiro, with sea views.
Complain only of the fact that the cleaning of the building was done only once during this period and partial (didn't clean our floor).
I have asked the owner to provide cleaning of the apartment, but he replied that this is done only once. However, if the lease can be made for a period of 03 days, I understand that for a longer lease (12 days) fit a cleaning in the middle of the period for replacement of items such as towels, etc.
We stayed as a couple one week in this flat and it was perfect! The neighbourhood was just what we where looking for, in the centre of Paris, but also very calm. When we were in the flat, there was the quiet sound of people having a drink or having dinner down the street and when we came out of the building, we walked right into the strolling nightlife.
The rooms are quite small, but we didn't need a bigger place. Within the dimensions of the flat, there was everything we wanted during our stay in Paris.
Arnaud's place was fantastic! First mention is definitely the location. Having stayed in Paris a few times, this would have to have been by far the most perfect location for basing ourselves to see paris. In the heart of the beautiful le marais with everything at your doorstep (bakeries , restaurants, shops and bars), allowing us to live like true Parisians. Although we never met Arnaud, communication had been clear, consistent and prompt. We had organised a driver to meet us at the airport, who was friendly, professional and on time, showing us into the apartment and making sure we were settled. The apartment itself was small, but comfortable among three of us (my parents and I). It was also clean with windows opening up to the street below. On the morning of our arrival we were even treated to French musicians playing below our window. During the day I would send my parents off on the hop on hop off bus tour (literally a 2min walk to the stop) and hire a velib bike just around the corner (40m away) to go exploring. Everything was just so easy. I would definitely recommend this place!
Great location in the midst of shops, restaurants and cafes. Always felt safe. The wifi was really good. Was nice sitting in the apartment in the afternoon and hearing the music playing below, just gorgeous. The apartment overall generally needs work. The bed is much smaller than a double bed and the bedroom door bangs when closed and the windows are open as its a sliding door. The sofa bed that my brother slept was very uncomfortable and lumpy, so he ended up taking the mattress from this sofa bed and putting it on the floor. We never received the 'Golden Book' so it was frustrating when we had to go and find wifi else where to get in contact with the owners. We still never received the golden book, but did manage to get the wifi. The shower became blocked and the owners quickly arranged for it to be fixed which was great. At the last minute we asked if we could perhaps leave our packed up luggage in the room for an additional hour whilst the cleaner was cleaning, and this was not possible which seemed a bit steep to us. The location and wifi is a real winner for this place.
We feel that it is important that the listing includes availability of the host. After we booked and confirmed, we were informed that we needed to pick up the key from another area in Paris. We arrived early afternoon and traveling with 2 teenage girls, found ourselves in a section of Paris that is "different".We noticed right away that there were a lot of males hanging out on the streets. We picked up the key from a business but the problem is walking that 1 block which seemd forever when all you pass were men standing hovering along the entire block. This situation could be alarming and more unnerving if we arrived at night and ended up in this area. We would not recommend this arrangement especially for female traveller/s.
The unit itself is clean until you open the kitchen cupboards or the cabinets which were either dirty or dusty. We found glasses that had lipstick marks on them so unsure if anything we found stored in the kitchen was actually clean.
The unit's location is great for accesibility but definitely the unit's condition can be improved.
