This was my second experience with Airbnb and just as wonderful as the first. Andrea hosted my daughter while on her way to Miami as a stop overnight. She was absolutely gracious, communicated well and very hospitable. She was gracious enough to keep me updated so mom didn't worry too much. The accommodations were perfect and the home was in a great neighborhood. I would certainly recommend Andrea to anyone in the Gainesville area. Thanks bunches Andrea!!!
The house is located in cull-de-sac of a quiet street. Andrea was very accommodating, and she is an interesting lady to meet. The bed is very firm (OK with us), and we slept like babies. Modest, perfect for us.
Thank you, Andrea !
We very much enjoyed our stay with Andrea. Her place was very clean and quiet, and she was very helpful with directions, restaurant recommendations, and gave us some items for the first night, when a suitcase had gone astray. A car is necessary, as her place is perhaps 6 miles from downtown or the university, and no public transport is nearby.
Andrea was a wonderful host who very graciously accommodated our late arrival. She was warm and welcoming, and it was wonderful to stay in a quiet location. Her place is very close to the I75, which made it easy for us to get around.
I was in Gainesville for a four day certification class and it was vital for me to have a quiet, peaceful residence for doing class preparation. My experience in Andrea's home exceeded my expectations and I could not be happier. Andrea is a wonderful hostess and a charming, friendly person. I really appreciated being in a clean & safe environment -- her home is well kept and comfortable. I absolutely will return for another stay with Andrea the next time I am in Gainesville. Highly recommended!!
I stayed for 5 days last week and had a very pleasant stay. The house is nice, in a quiet neighborhood and very easy drive from the airport, about 20 minutes and easy access to Hwy 75. Andrea was a charming host and made my stay comfortable and relaxed. I slept very well. I highly recommend Andrea's place and would stay there again.
Andrea is such a gracious host. The house and room were immaculate - this was important due to my asthma/allergies. Everything about the room and bathroom was exactly as described. We were only pleasantly surprised by how convenient the location was to the UF campus and area. Andrea was there to answer questions, but we also had plenty of privacy with the layout. All in all it was a wonderful experience and if we are in this neck of the woods again, we would certainly stay here again.
Andrea was a great host. I stayed for 5 nights. I was able to get up early for work and come home to a quiet place to rest or work at night. She offered me tea and also invited me to the Halloween party that happened to be going on the week I was in town.
I would highly recommend staying here, but keep in mind this is about a 20-25 minute drive to UF campus in morning traffic.
Andrea's place is clean and friendly. My daughter (10) enjoyed looking at the globe and perusing some of the travel books. A welcome change to the big hotel we usually stay at.
Andrea is an extremely courteous host providing exactly what she advertises: a clean room in a quiet neighborhood.
