Our 3 BR ranch style house is on 6 acres of land, with big oak trees, a pond view and a big front porch with a swing. Our house is on a quiet loop road, great for a run, ride or walk. We're semi-close to a RR track and 5 minutes from I-26, exit 97.
We've hosted many workers for VC Summer and that works well for us. We are in the process of an adoption that could happen at anytime, so we prefer shorter commitments, 2 weeks or less, but we are always open to a conversation about your stay/needs.
We will do our best to be home when you arrive although it is not always possible. We will give you instructions about the keyless entry in case we're not available. Please message us on Airbnb with any questions. We have 3 cats, the white one (Jessie) and the black one (Kevin) and Prince (orange long hair munchkin) are indoor/outdoor cats. Jessie is not very friendly. Kevin is friendly but skiddish with loud noises or voices. Prince is shy but warms up to cat people and is a purrbox. Please respect our property and animals but not causing any harm or damage and being clean.
Please no smoking in or near the house. We've had problems in the past with ashes left in the trashcan and strong lingering smells because of that. Thank you!
Let us know if you need anything, and if you need coffee or tea. We only have a french press, so let us know if you need assistance with how to use it or the electric kettle. You can just put your used dishes in the dishwasher if there is room.
Please treat everything and everyone with respect while you are with us, and if you need anything, please ask. Make yourself at home!

We are welcoming to all people :) . My husband, Daniel is a youth director at our church. He teaches the Bible and plays lots of sports with the students. I, Corrie, am an ESL teacher with VIPKID, (referral code=02D02E). We were English teachers in a small village outside of Beijing for a year in 2011. We are well traveled and love to show hospitality to travelers and passersby. We also love to travel with airbnb and stay in unique and friendly places. We are in the process of adoption, and are saving money on our vacation this summer by traveling on a road trip to ME in the camper Daniel built on the back of our Tacoma. #theTaHoma We are both very laid back, love being with families, can't live without good coffee, healthy snacks, good music and Harry Potter audiobooks for our road trip.
