Please be respectful to the neighbors.
Please be respectful of the house it's furnishings and belongings , as this is a family home and is used by my FAMILY every year. We LOVE this HOUSE, and hope you enjoy your stay in this SPECIAL PLACE. There have been many hours of LABOR put into the house with the LOVE of my FAMILY and FRIENDS. Please help us preserve it.
As this was our first reservation through airbnb, we had gained a very pleasant experience. Suzan is most helpful and outgoing person that will do anything, even from far away, to make sure that we have the best vacation. On the day we were supposed to arrive, she didn't rest till she was sure that we had made it, since we took the.public transportation with our 4 kids.
The house was ready for us all with linnings and towels for our personal use. Almost everything we need was there, and if not, we could address Susan's local house keeper that was completely available for us.
The house is very simple and that adds to the total atmosphere of staying in a small village. Preferable being with a car because every trip, even to do some shopping at the village near by, takes hours...especially if you have kids.
Excepect the minimum and you'll feel like you're getting the maximum!!
I thank Suzan with all my heart for doing all her best to make our stay in Tambor nice and pleasant.
We loved staying at Casa Tambor! Susan was an excellent host. She answered all our questions before we booked so we felt secure about our decision. The house looked just like the pictures and was spacious and clean. We love to cook and the kitchen was stocked with every utensil we could have wanted. The town of Tambor is accurate to the listed description. It is a small town, but it has a good grocery store and a few restaurants within walking distance. We were fine without a car, and were able to bus when needed. We visited during rainy season so it might be different in prime tourist time, but we loved how un-touristy it is compared other places we visited in Costa Rica. There is still stuff to do (kayaking, surfing, horseback riding), if you would like, but we were happy walking the beach and swimming. People were very friendly. Definitely a great place to stay for a quiet vacation. We can't wait to come back!
