The Space

Top floor (6th) recently redesigned apartment, 50 sqm, 1 big living room, 1 separate bedroom, 7 windows, very bright. Lots of charm and character, with original old beams from 1800's contrasting with white walls.

Very small elevator up to 5th floor then a few steps to the 6th.

Nice small French-style building, inhabited by families, very calm and safe.

Very comfortable for 4 guests, can accomodate up to 6.

In Le Marais / Enfants-Rouges area. Great for walking, shopping for traditional food, going to bars and cafés or to visit Le Marais landmark "hotels particuliers"... and more art galleries than you can visit in a month. We'll give you addresses!
10 minutes walking to Place des Vosges. 2 subway stations 2 minutes away.

Big open living room with 2 large sofa-beds and 1 separate bedroom w Queen size bed, .

  • We were delighted with our host Sebastian he was there to meet us and answered all our question. All his instruction were easy to follow . He communicated with us before we left for France and was in touch from the airport to his apartment. The apartment was great. It had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. Sebastian's instructions were very helpful in terms of market shops etc.

  • Our stay at Sebastein's apartment exceeded our expectations. The check-in process was arranged with a couple of e-mails the day before our arrival. Sebastein met us at the elevator and carried our bags up the flight of stairs to the apartment. He then explained how everything worked and left the keys. He provided a booklet that answered all of the questions that come up during the stay, so we never had to ask him for help again. The apartment was great. It is in a building that is over 200 years old, so there are squeaky floors, but otherwise the space was perfect. Having the washing machine in the unit was so helpful. We could have packed a lot less. The area is just outside of the touristy spots, very residential. It can be a bit noisy when the windows are open, especially if you are not used to city life. We actually enjoyed that part. You could hear music from the cafe at the corner - very charming! The metro was about a block away, which made getting around very easy.

  • I stayed Sebastien's apartment for 5 nights with my hudsband and my little girl. He was very sympathique and helpful. The studio was also very clean and romantic. And the location was very ideal. We could go to Metro just 5mn walk.
We spend so wonderful time . If I will go paris another time, I want to stay his studio again. Thank you Sebastien. :)

  • Hassle-free, charming and very comfortable.

It's comparable in comfort to any modern, international four-star hotel... with LOADS more space. The place is actually much more spacious than it looks in pictures, and my (perhaps irrational) concern about ceiling height was a non-issue. Even with the beams, the ceiling height is normal.

The extra bonus was how quiet the apartment was, which is not necessarily a given in Paris.

The hosts were very warm and welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed.

Thank you for a wonderful stay.

  • Sebastien could not have been a kinder or more helpful host and the flat was every bit as good as it looked in the photographs. The studio was light and spacious and there was great attention to detail as well as style. The kitchen area was small but well equipped , there was aTV, books wifi and a desk where my daughter was able to revise and a dining area as well as two double sofa beds which were very comfortable and easy to tidy away for our teenagers. The double bedroom had a large wardrobe and the bed was also very comfortable. The bathroom was compact but had an excellent shower, bath and washing machine.. The whole place was spotlessly clean and touches such as fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, plentiful soft towels made it feel like a home from home . The location of the flat was perfect for exploring the Marais and there were plenty of shops nearby to get food and essential supplies. In sum I think we were very lucky to find this gem in the Marais and very much hope we will be able to go back.

  • My husband and I stayed in Sebastien's apartment, and it was wonderful. It completely lives up to all of the positive reviews. The apartment was spacious and full of light. It was immaculate. It was set in the coolest part of Paris, away from the tourist throngs but also within walking distance of many sights. The restaurants and shopping in the area are great too. Sebastien and Jean-Baptiste were perfect hosts, and they were very helpful with letting us leave their bags in their apartment on the last day and calling a taxi for us. We hope to come back one day and stay again. Thank you!

  • e could not be more delighted with our month in Sebastien’s apartment. This was our first experience with AirBnB and it far surpassed our expectations. Sebastien and Jean Baptiste are wonderful hosts; they took care in preparing the apartment, made sure we were settled, and responded quickly to any questions. They offered lots of great suggestions for restaurants and activities, which added to our pleasure in visiting Paris. The apartment was sparkling clean, very handsome and well equipped. It is in a great location, near the Metro and many interesting markets, shops, restaurants, and museums. A previous guest mentioned the low water pressure, but the plumber replaced a water pipe during our stay that made the water pressure much better. Overall, we enthusiastically recommend this place and these charming hosts.

We live in Central Paris (Le Marais) and in the same building we have redesigned a quite nice 50 sq.m. flat, top floor, very sunny, that we keep at the disposal of friends and family for short stays, applying the concept of "chambre d'hôte".
