  • Sono stata molto tranquilo e comodo per viaggiare

    February 2014
  • We were a group of six European friends and the place was exactly what we were looking for. A little small, but clean and corresponding to what the pictures and the description said.
We would do this choice again!

  • So we were 5 people and because of our own mistake, we arrived one day later than my company had expected, but Fulvio and his wife made it so that we could meet them the next day in at the apartment... they even offered us to stay a day longer because the next guests would have arrived later! They are both so nice, as well as their neighbor who brought us our towels and bedsheets and even helped us to get our luggage to the apartment. Even before we arrived, Fulvio would always respond real quick so there were no worries at all, we knew that we would be in good hands.

The location of the apartment is very good, it was in a quieter area, but close enough to have a nice walk to the Popolo place in about 10~15 minutes (or take the urban train) and start our tour through Rome. Again, Fulvio and his wife gave us some good suggestions and marked some spots on the map so we wouldn't get lost at all the amazing scenery of Rome. Theres a supermarket just across the building, so groceries were easy to get.

The apartment itself is pretty, we had everything we wished for and were able to cook some meals as well, the kitchen is well suited.

All in all we had a great time and can very much recommend this apartment and the service of the hosts to anyone who has more company, thanks again Fulvio!

  • We stayed in the apartment as a family of six (with a little baby) and it was a good experience. The location was great (just by the new MAXXI museum, close to the historical centre) and the dining room/living room/kitchen was spacious. Some problems included, however, the hot water - which was coming and going, as well as the location of the bunk bed. It was placed in a corridor/entrance with no windows, so it could not be used as a separate room, as we expected looking at the pictures. The owner's brother was very helpful in case of any problems.

  • We loved staying at The Artist apartment in Rome, and Fulvio and Mizina were perfect hosts. They recommended several delicious restaurants, including Pizzeria Vignola Via del Vignola 25 which was just down the block, as well as attending the Gelato Fest. The apartment was right on the tram line which ran very frequently so getting to the metro station was very easy - 15-20 minutes. We also enjoyed going to the shops, restaurants and fountains at Piazza del Popolo which was right by the metro station. Vatican City, Spanish Steps, Colosseum and all the other must-see locations were a few easy metro stops away. There is a grocery store right around the corner as well.
We were 2 adults and 3 children and had ample space, plenty of hot water for showers, and convenience of the washing machine at the apartment.
We would definitely recommend The Artist to anyone visiting Rome and would stay there again ourselves.

  • I stayed at the Artist with 4-5 other coworkers for five night. It fit our needs perfectly! The apartment was a little small but comfortably fit all of us. The grocery story across the street was amazing and because the apartment is outside of the center city area, we were able to get nice meals at restaurants that were not too touristy/pricey. There was public transportation available close to the apartment, but walking everywhere was also very manageable. It was about a 20 minute walk to reach the northern end of the central area (Piazza de Popolo). Fulvio and his wife, Mizina, were amazing hosts. They checked in with us throughout the week and offered many restaurant and transportation suggestions. They were also nice enough to call and book a taxi for our group so that we could easily reach the train station in the morning. We would definitely choose to stay at the Artist should we find ourselves in Rome again! Thanks again, Fulvio and Mizina!

  • The Artist is located in a super part of Rome. It is only about a 15 minute walk to the old city center, yet it is in a quieter area. Great restaurants nearby, including a pizzeria suggested by the hosts that was superb. The area is not very touristy yet has a market and other conveniences very close. The apartment is in an older building. It is smaller than I expected - okay for the 4 of us, but I wouldn't suggest any more than that. The basic necessities were there..

  • We had a very good time at Fulvio's apartment. It is well located, 15 minutes walking from piazza del Popolo. We recommend the place for young couples or groups of friends

  • Fulvio was very responsive by email when we made the booking and on the way to Rome, and gave us a list of local restaurants, one of which we went to twice, as it was just locals from the neighbourhood not tourists. We did not meet him in person but instead his mother who lives next door. She was very nice and is the Artist in the pics. She lent us some maps of the city and showed us some

The apartment was clean though smaller than we expected especially for six of us (2 kids were able to sleep in fold out bunkbeds by the door). But no matter, it was a great location from which to explore Rome and we had a great time. The place is secure and the area is safe. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks to Fulvio for being part of our trip!

  • We stay in The Artist for one week in may 2013. Very quiet and clean district. Cafe, fruits, pizza, parks in 1-5 min a walk. The main plus for me it`s supermarket across the road! 10 min to the center on tram no problem. Apartment is the same on the foto on in one. Comfortable, clean in style of Rome:) We enjoyed every day to stay there and spended greatest hollidays in Rome

About
