All about Donald’s place

This getaway, sometimes described as" Unique and Quirky", is a homestead built almost 40 years ago in the secluded Texas hill country of Spring Branch. Originally a 3000+ sqft home Don Finley constructed for his family, it is now a rental, an Air BnB and a home to himself and son. Pets are allowed and have their own gated yard outside of suite, just please keep in mind the petting zoo and horses on the nearby property.

The space
The complex is a quarter mile off the pavement and a quarter mile from the roads demise. The three acre space has large tracts ( 30 acre & 5 acre ) on the north side and no neighbors on the south side. The inn has another three acre nature preserve at the roads end with a tree filled rill, spring fed pool and 400 feet of creek. Plenty of seclusion and privacy. We are 5 miles from the river and the north Canyon Lake access. Nearby are 2 river crossings and the Cypress Cove lake access/boat ramp as well. In the area are also many small spring fed creeks and other small ponds and recreation areas.

During your stay

I do like to socialize with my guests but I am also thoughtful of their privacy. Let me know if you would like to go on a nature walk or feed my horses some snacks. We also have a small spring fed creek with a park in the neighborhood that we like to share with our guests.
