The property is surrounded by its own vineyards and olive groves. An outdoor pool is available for free in summer.
The thermal baths of San Casciano are 10 km from the property, while Lake Bolsena and the unique town of Orvieto are a 45-minute drive away.
The village of Radicofani is being dominated by the fortress "La Rocca", which was restored and opened to the public. The beautiful and small historic village invites you to explore it and stroll along its small roads. Apart from bars and restaurants, it also offers a supermarket, butchers, bakeries and other shops to buy groceries, local specialities and, of course, local handicraft.
The Orcia Valley has been one of the italian UNESCO world heritage sites since 2004. The landscape of the Orcia Valley was celebrated by the painters of the Senese School, which flourished in the Renaissance. Images of the Orcia Valley, and above all the descriptions in which the people is being depicted as living in harmony with nature, became the icons of the Renaissance and have profoundly influenced the evolution of the philosophy of the landscape.

I can't do justice in expressing how nice, kind and generous Tara and Lucca are. These are just genuinely good and nice people, and I'm so happy to have met them at all. When I left it was like saying good bye to friends.
Even during initial communication and in the planning phase Tara had already been absolutely helpful, communicative and accessible.
As for the B&B, it was impressively clean. Breakfast included, among other things, fresh bread, pies and a variety of teas and juice.
The location is halfway up a mountain, overlooking a valley, and ideal for listening to the sound of the wind in the trees and cuckoo birds, with some much appreciated silence in between.
I highly recommend having a car here, which you can use to get around to all the wonderful places closeby such as Bagno San Fillipo, San Casciano dei Bagni, Mount Amiata (nice hike!) and Pienza, among a number of others.
Lovely people, lovely B&B, lovely surroundings.
Amazing location! The roads leading to Tara's place are incredibly beautiful. Be sure to drive to the nearby hot springs (both of them). My stay here was perfect. The room was great, the views and the hammock were spectacular, the breakfast was delicious. I wish I could have stayed longer.
