Interaction with Guests
We are happy to help you with any questions you may have during your stay; though, we do have an office in the same building and many guests feel they have the whole apartment to themselves.
Just across the East River from Manhattan’s bright lights is Williamsburg, one of Brooklyn's most popular and exciting neighborhoods. You can explore the lively arts, music, and boutique scene here, chill in numerous cafes, dine in some very good restaurants — and soak up the creative energy and vibe of young artists and models.
Interestingly, the hip Williamsburg scene plays out against a backdrop of old industrial buildings, modest attached homes (though punctuated by increasing numbers of expensive waterfront high rises). All of this is bordered by a long-standing residential community of Hasidim to the south and a distinctive Polish area to the north. Williamsburg is a mish-mash of cultures and vistas.
A mecca for creative energy for over a decade…If there's one neighborhood that's indicative of the "new Brooklyn," it's Williamsburg. Come take a look!
Stroll around and take in Williamsburg Street Art or enjoy easy access to Manhattan with the Bedford L Subway train. Street Parking found outside or there is a Paid Parking Garage in the building next door.

Miko and Lauren were amazing. From the moment I got there I felt welcomed and part of the household. Miko invited me out to watch a football game and introduced me to the neighbourhood.
I was in NYC during a pretty cold, snow-filled month but the apartment was a great shelter from the storm. A great place to stay.
Staying with Miko and Lauren from the 27/12/14 to the 01/01/15 was one of the best decisions we could have made for our trip to NYC. Miko was there to meet us at the apartment and give us a tour before going to work. The apartment was everything that was advertised and extremely homely and welcoming. We met Lauren the following day on her way to work but she still had the time to help us out with where to head in Brooklyn and gave us the best directions to the L train. For the next few days we felt like we had the apartment to ourselves as when we were there we didn't see them, and there were no queues for the bathroom and we felt truly at home. The bedroom we stayed in was exactly as described with plenty of storage space for us to unpack and relax. The apartment was ideally situated and everything we needed in comfortable surroundings. Miko gave us some good tips for where to spend NYE's in Brooklyn and both were extremely helpful.
I would recommend this property and couple as hosts highly to anyone looking for somewhere outside Manhatten in the heart of Williamsburg.

Miko & Lauren make their home a very warm & welcoming place to stay. We stayed there for 5 days and it totally felt like we were walking into our own place each time. They even had cold drinking drinking water for us at all times, it was the little things like that we loved. The place is a short walk away from the L train which is only about 3 stops from Manhattan. Their place is right next to McCarren Park which is a huge park great for a walk, watching some little league games, & even ice skating. There are also plenty of great eating spots too (Jimmy's Diner/24 hours, Vinnie's pizza, etc). We would love to stay there again next time we are in town!
I stayed with Miko and Lauren in November/December of 2014. They were excellent hosts and everything about the apartment, bedroom, and neighborhood were as advertised! They are very clean, quiet, and conscientious about making you feel at home. The room is large, with a ton of natural light, and the location really can't be beat. Didn't have a single issue.
I stayed in Miko & Lauren's apartment for one month and had a great time! The location is absolutely great. You can find nice restaurants nearby and Manhattan is only 15 mins away by L train. In the apartment, they are so quite and respectful, so you will feel like home. Toilet and room was very clean as well. Highly recommend! Thanks for everything guys!
Miko & Lauren's place is at a great location in Williamsburg, next to McCarren Park and it is just a subway-stop away from Manhattan. You can find wonderful places for breakfast, coffee and dining around, since you will be very close to Bedford St and most attractions in Williamsburg. The room and the bathroom was really clean and comfortable. Most above all, the place has a wonderful balcony to chill after a long day. If you are visiting in the summer, the room will be very hot, so this helped a lot.
Miko was a great host. He made it very easy for my boyfriend and I to arrive when it was convenient for us and to come and go as we needed. The room was very nice. The bathroom was shared by several people but it was extremely clean and there were no issues being able to use it whenever we needed to. The neighborhood was great; right next to a park and an easy 5-8 minute walk to the subway and some great restaurants and bars!

We have been living here for over 10 years and still can't get enough! Lauren is a professional sommelier and I am a graphic designer working in the music industry. We love to travel, eat good food and laugh... our motto is "do whatever you want, all the time".
