  • What a great little spot, in an ideal section of Milwaukee!
I travel to MKE every month for business and had been staying at a few hotels in the area. This time, I decided to try an Airbnb for the (website hidden)'s place, located right near busy, colorful Brady Street, is a super convenient rental. Whole Foods Market and Colectivo Coffee are just a 10 min walk away. You can cross the street and walk along the Oak Leaf Trail down the lakefront. A cozy wine bar/local foods restaurant (Allium) is also very close by. If you're looking to explore, this is an easy pick.

The unit is very clean, warm (super critical, being so close to the lake) and well kept; Jo stocks local coffee and some simple breakfast goods for guests. A few differently sized pots and pans would have been helpful (I cook oatmeal every morning and the unit just has one rather large pot - too much for a breakfast or soup for one person!), but there is plenty of silverware and dishware. The bed is very comfy and the pull-out bed for the sofa is pretty good, too; mattress a little bouncy, but I slept just fine!

I would definitely recommend Jo's rental and will likely try coming back here, myself, on return visits to Milwaukee :)

  • Very nice place. Was very clean, and bed was comfortable. Covered parking with door opener was (website hidden) was great and was very flexible as far as meeting us on our schedule and even gave us a lift downtown! Location is great near lots of cool bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and a nice waterfront park. There is a pull out sleeper love seat that we used. Not the most comfortable for sleeping, but few are I suppose. Overall we would recommend. This is a great set up for a couple that wants to be near a hip area of Milwaukee!

  • Great place, as promised in a great location. The hosts, both Jo & Bruce were responsive and helpful. The clean, lovely apartment with great views place made for a great first time experience with Air BnB .

We hope to return there on a future Milwaukee visit...

For other first timers, the one thing I learned is to read everything possible from the hosts and to ask any clarifying questions earlier in the process...

  • centrally located to the downtown retail district of MKE, nice views of the Lake. Enjoyed our stay, would re-book again

  • We only had a chance to meet Bruce briefly, but both Bruce and Jo were very friendly and responsive to emails and phone calls. They provided thorough instructions that made check in/out fast and easy, and because no one was staying immediately after us, they were flexible with our checkout time. They really made sure we had an easy and enjoyable stay. Bruce even made sure we were stocked with coffee and a few breakfast items. The apartment was very clean and looks just as it appears in the photos, and there's an indoor parking spot on top of it! The location is AWESOME! As a former resident of the East Side, I am quite familiar with all the amazing food and drinks in the area, so it was exciting to be right in the heart of the action again. Overall, my boyfriend and I had a great time! Thanks again Bruce & Jo!

  • Great apartment and location. Didn't get a chance to meet Bruce and Jo, but their communication and instructions were excellent. Clean, modern apartment near lots of great places to eat. Whole experience was easy and would stay here again in a second.

  • Great space! Included a parking spot and even a pack and play for our little guy to sleep in. Much better then a hotel and in a nice area!

  • Bruce was a great host and answered all of our questions and was very accomadating and gracious. Our stay was last minute and Bruce went above and beyond to extend himself to us and made sure our visit was enjoyable and comfortable. We hope to be back soon!!

  • My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at 3D. Bruce was prompt in replying to my booking 3D. He was helpful in giving possible suggestions of where to eat close by. The area where 3D is located is close to fun attractions such as the Milwaukee Art Museum, Mitchell Park Domes and Milwaukee Public Market. The condo itself is close to the lake and would be a great place to bring your bike. Guests with or without a car can easy access and enjoy the area. 3D was a clean, safe and beautifully decorated space. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to our friends.

  • 3D is wonderfully cozy, well appointed, and located in a terrific neighborhood, with easy access to the airport, train station, and Milwaukee's best sightseeing destinations. We felt very much at home and at ease during our stay. And with two pharmacies, a grocery store, and a wealth of excellent restaurants within walking distance, we could choose to stay in or go out.

Whether walking along the Brady Street corridor, exploring downtown (the Milwaukee Art Museum is amazing!), or heading out on a day trip (Chicago and Madison are within a couple of hours by car/train), 3D is a great place to start. We hope to come back the next time we're out this way. Thanks, Bruce & Jo!

I love to travel with my husband, and sometimes alone, and am delighted to have found the airbnb community. I particularly enjoy sailing, scuba diving, and visiting new cities or landscapes we find ourselves in, exploring architecture, the natural surroundings, seeking out art museums, and meeting new people. We have friends all across the country to visit and a long list of places we hope to travel to, so we may be calling to be hosted by you. As a host I've owned 3D @ Prospect & Brady near downtown Milwaukee, a one bedroom condominium at N Prospect Ave & E Brady St, on Milwaukee's lower eastside since 1997. I'm familiar with the neighborhood, its conveniences and attractions and would be happy to host your visit. See my (email hidden)/rooms/232616 as well as www.airbnb.com/rooms/1297837.
