We had a fantastic stay at Camila's apartment, which was in a great location for a wedding we went to at the Prospect Park boat house. The apartment is right next to the Subway and the park and is an ideal place for exploring the city. The apartment has a very chilled out vibe and it felt like a little oasis of calm during our manic time running around the city that never sleeps.
I always love staying on Prospect Park. Camila's place was large and bright, and a real bargain for two bedrooms. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The train being around the corner made it so convenient to leave the car and zip into Manhattan, and we had no problem finding parking in front of the building when we arrived. Most of the nearby places to eat are at the other end of Prospect Park, which is a little less than a mile and also where the Brooklyn Museum is. A great excuse to walk through the beautiful park!
Camila and Ehren are great hosts who were very flexible with the check-in/out times. My friend and I were stuck in traffic and were unable to meet Camila at our pre-arranged time. She was super cool about our delay and very easy to reach by phone. The apartment is very spacious and close to the subway.
Wonderful apartment, and wonderful hosts! We really enjoyed our stay. It was cozy and peaceful- and right near the park- an urban sanctuary. so easy to get to Manhattan as well- the B and Q trains are one block away and run regularly. Also, check out the Blue Roost for great coffee, homestyle food and hospitality.
Nice place, clean and confortable!
