Truly wonderful place, extremely warm and friendly hosts. It seems navigating Cooperstown can be a bit intimidating/overwhelming with all the tourism, but these folks were very warm, and very helpful. Fantastic bathroom/bedroom, and an even better dog.
We had a great stay in Cooperstown with Alice and Sergio. We were in town for a wedding and had been at a local B&B previous to our stay (we extended our trip to celebrate our anniversary). This was much better!! The house is beautiful and and the room was just what we needed. We liked having the private bathroom and the Murphy bed was very comfortable. Alice was very quick to respond to any questions we had and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. She also gave us some recommendations for restaurants and places to visit--we loved the Hawkeye Grill, Fenimore Museum, the Stagecoach! I hope we can come back to lovely Cooperstown and visit with them again, they were wonderful hosts! Thanks again, hope to see you in the future!
We loved staying with Alice and Sergio in Cooperstown. Alice makes you feel like extended family from the minute you arrive. Their home, which they have nearly finished renovating, is lovely. Sergio even made the beautiful and comfy Murphy bed in our room! They both are incredibly talented artists. We couldn't have asked for a cleaner or more comfortable place. The location was perfect with a very easy walk to downtown and the lake. It was nice not to have to drive for a couple of days. Alice gave us great recommendations for eating spots in the area and other points of interest besides the Baseball Hall of Fame.
My boyfriend and I spent a weekend at Alice's home while we were in Cooperstown for a concert at Ommegang. What a great experience! It was our first time using Airbnb, and we could not have been more thrilled with how everything worked out. Alice & Sergio were gracious hosts with a wealth of knowledge about Cooperstown. Their home was beautiful and the room we stayed in was very comfortable - plush bedding and pillows, plenty of towels, a clean bathroom, and more than enough space for the two of us & our bags. We would not hesitate to stay there again, and we've already recommended Alice & Sergio's home to friends and family.
It was a pleasure staying with Alice. She has a lovely home in a great location. When we arrived she welcomed us and showed us around. The room was perfect and the private half bath was ideal for getting ready for the wedding we were attending that night. Alice also shared all her local knowledge with us. Private parking area was also clutch.
Alice and Sergio are gracious hosts who enjoy having guests. They are conversational and quick with informed recommendations of things to do and places to eat.
Their home reminded me of my Grandma's old house, charming and comfortable and full of interesting local knick-knacks. The kitchen is a comfortable place to sit and enjoy coffee or tea along with whatever Alice may may have made that day (she is a good cook). Best of all it is well located - a short walk to all the Cooperstown Village attractions.
