I am a wife, mother, and homesteader that owns a sheep farm with my husband. We love sharing our farming experiences, both good and bad. I have been lucky enough to have lived in the country my whole life and want to share my lifestyle with you.
We bought the farm in 2012 as a young ambitious couple. The house was completely gutted and renovated, and the 1820's barn was in great shape for its age, but still needed a little TLC.
Our first animals that we acquired on the farm were our chickens. It is true what they say, chickens are the gate-way farm animal. Next came some goats, a few horses, six sheep, and a couple of pigs. We are now home to numerous chickens, four horses, over 100 sheep, five pigs, two geese and a couple of turkeys.
Nowadays, our children are becoming more involved with the farm and I can only imagine what other creatures will call Weathered Hill Farm home.
