I turned up early and William was happy to pop over and show me around. I was in town for a show at Moscone, and it turned out to be a 5 to 7 dollar Uber just about anywhere. Easy walk over there, but laziness took over. The place was a fabulous place to hang out in between meetings, and managed to have some of the crew over for a few rounds of pool. Amazing views of the city and harbor in the distance. I hope it will be available on my next visit.
Un fortunately, I didn't get to meet Bill, even so he was very warm, accommodating, friendly and concerned that everything went smoothly for us.
The space is large but not really a 2-bedroom place. That being said we loved it. Very charming. Also. It is centrally located, with dozens of restaurants outside the door, and way walks to public transport.
What an amazing space! Bill was an excellent host. Everything was very easy from the get-go... no issues whatsoever. Loved the location and the view is incredible. Great people watching perch, any time of day or night!
The Master bedroom was quite nice. Dark and quiet, so easy to sleep considering the bustling nature of the building proximity. Great natural light throughout the main level and in the bathroom. The high ceilings made the space feel much bigger.
The best coffee shop in town was a short walk away. You have to try the Iced Separator at Contraband Coffee! Also many great bars and nightlife spots very close, enough to walk to or a cheap Lyft or Uber ride to Polk St.
Thanks Bill for a wonderful time. We will most definitely consider your perch again when visiting San Francisco. And we'll be sure to drop by the wine bar next time as well!!!
Apartment was spacious and fairly clean. The second bed was beneath the pool table, which was a bit strange and unexpected, but also very comfortable. Bill was very communicative and helpful.
The place was amazing on the 7th floor with a balcony overlooking a spectacular panoramic view of the city. The kitchen is across the hall but that was not a problem for us. The upstairs bedroom was beautiful and spacious and there was plenty of room for my husband, myself and our 2 daughters in the penthouse. The bed was so comfortable that my slightly picky (when it comes to beds) husband was wondering what brand the bed was as he wanted to buy one just like it... I have never heard him say that when staying somewhere. A better option than renting hotel rooms. We were there on the weekend and we never had a problem finding parking. It is a busy street out front but being up so high, you hear it but it just makes you feel like you're really experiencing the city. Our host Will was always quick to answer any questions I had before and during our stay. A really unique and fun place to stay in San Francisco.
Place was amazing and big. Great view and location. The only draw back is that the kitchen is not in the suite, and you do have to leave the apartment and walk down a hall. Not a big deal if you don't have food for the fridge. The house rules booklet was bigger than expected.
Bill's place was awesome! Tons of room and a great location. Bill was also super friendly and made himself available to help us if we needed it. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a sweet spot in San Francisco. We'll definitely be returning in the future.
