3-Bedroom Storybook Tudor home with spacious backyard in the heart of South Pasadena. Perfect for a family, or business and pleasure travelers looking for somewhere close to Downtown LA and Pasadena. Walk to Trader Joes, restaurants and the Gold Line train. For the Rose Parade, you can take the Gold Line Metro train (which is a six minute walk from the house) ONE STOP and you are right there without parking hassles.
The house is only available for weekly or monthly rentals during the summer!
This is large lovely Storybook Tudor style home with 3 bedrooms in a NICE residential neighborhood. Many of the guests who have stayed here were in town for weddings and family reunions and were looking for an alternative to a hotel so they could all be together in a relaxing and private environment. Other guests have been groups of friends converging together from different parts of the world for events at Caltech, JPL, and the Rose Parade.
They have the entire house privately and access to the patio (which has a patio table and bbq) and the yard with a massive green lawn and garden boxes on a timer.
Interaction with guests
There will always be somebody available to assist you with anything related to the house while you are staying!
Other things to note
THERE ARE TWO TENANTS ON THE PROPERTY
1) There is one tenant who lives in the ground floor addition to the main house. His studio shares two walls with the main house, but he has his own kitchen and bathroom. He enters and exits the property through a locked side gate and does not have access to the main house.
2) There is a 2nd tenant who lives in a guest house at the back of the property. He enters and exits the property through a locked side gate and does not have access to the main house.
Parking - You can easily park two vehicles in the driveway (though for stays longer than a week, I will need to leave my car at the end of the driveway so just one car of any sizie will fit). Just don't block the sidewalk with a vehicle because people walk around a lot in our neighborhood. You can also park cars on the street all day, but from 2am-6am an overnight pass is required. You can easily get 1-day overnight passes ($2) at the Police Department located at 1422 Mission Street from a kiosk.
Our black cat Lucy lives on the property . She is predominantly an outside cat. But she stay with a friend when Airbnb guests stay unless you request for her around (kids love her). She is shorthair, has no fleas (Advantage), and is as sweet as sugar.
Absolutely 7 guests maximum including children of any age. This is NOT a party house. One of these guests may to sleep on the air mattress unless you plan to squeeze two people into a full size bed. I also have a single size air mattress that fits nicely in the bedroom with the full size bed (my son's room). Please be considerate of my neighbors on all sides by not being loud at night past 10pm. They know to text me immediately if they are disturbed. My family is so grateful to have this wonderful home and we are happy to share it with other respectful families and travelers to also enjoy.

Internet professional, author, college professor, mom, foodie, born in Hollywood, spent my adult life in NY. I am traveling A LOT these days because of my book and getting asked to speak at lots of tech conferences and do workshops all over the world. I like things to be clean, nice and peaceful. Unless of course I'm seeing some weird obscure band play live, and in that case I can handle noise and chaos.
