  • Farmleigh Woods

Boathouse cafe: Lunch alongside nature, not outstanding food but you can grab a sandwich while looking at the ducks on the lake.
    Dublin Dublin
  • John Kavanagh (Grave Diggers)

Right next to Glasnevin cemetery (hence the name!). This is one of the oldest pubs in Ireland. A lot of charm. Frequented by very friendly punters and nice bar staff. Possibly the best Guinness in Dub

  • Junos Cafe

    Brunch and NY style food
    Parkgate St Dublin 8
  • brother hubbard

    Brunch and lunch
    Capel Street Dublin Dublin
  • Tea Garden

This is a bizarre tea place. They serve a multitude of teas in a bizarre but very relaxed setting. You will feel relaxed after a visit here...it is guaranteed.

  • Panem

Very small Italian coffee shop with delicious homemade bread, Panini, desserts
Lower Ormond Quay Dublin Dublin 1
  • The Porterhouse Temple Bar

There are 3 of these in the city. Porterhouse North, Central and South. The one in temple bar is probably the best (address below). All serve their own beer and have a wide selection of world beers!
    Parliament Street Dublin 2
  • Taste of Emilia

Nice coffee, aperitifs and Italian products
Lower Liffey Street Dublin Dublin 1
  • Elephant & Castle

New York style, best chicken wings in town. Good value for money.

  • Vintage Cocktail Club (V.C.C.)

This is a little doorway off a street near Temple Bar….serves very strong cocktails and is very quirky inside….
    Crown Alley Dublin 2 Dublin
  • Diwali Restaurant

Best Indian and Nepalese restaurant in Dublin (that doesnt charge you a fortune like others!)
    S Great George's St Dublin
  • The Stag's Head

Great pub. People spill out on the street at the mere hint of half decent weather!
    Dublin 2 Dublin 2
  • Yamamori Izakaya

Not to be confused with it’s sister restaurant across the street. This place serves ‘Japas’ (Japanese Tapas) and is definitely the best Japanese place in Dublin.
S Great George's St Dublin Dublin
  • Fallon & Byrne

It is a chic supermarket cum wine bar (downstairs) and resto upstairs. This recommendation is mostly for the wine bar then the supermarket.
    Exchequer Street Dublin Dublin 2
  • George's Street Arcade

Europes and Irelands oldest shopping centre
South Great Georges Street Dublin County Dublin

  • Ivans

This is a great place to eat fish, have a glass of wine etc during the day. There are also a lot of decent fish restaurants along the same street but the tapas bar is great.
    W Pier Howth Dublin
  • Aqua Restaurant

This place has the best views in Dublin. Make sure you book a table just before sunset. It is quite pricey.
    West Pier Howth Dublin
  • Johnnie Fox's Pub

This is out in the Wicklow mountains. There is a bus that goes from points in the city centre. Quite touristy but serves good food and they have a ‘Hooley night’ - Irish dancing and singing show.
