This host is just one of those who walk the extra mile without you having to ask for it. Being our first booking at Airbnb, this couldn't have been any better.
We arrived late Sunday 12th of July, I think it was about 8-9pm. Chiara and Michele were very flexible with check-in and checkout times. Room was perfectly set up with a large bath room, a wonderful balcony overlooking the fields around their house...and not to forget the awesome henhouse.
Chiara and Michele with family made us feel very welcome at arrival, like we really were their guests and not "hostel customers".
If we would've gone for a walk, we'd have separate access to our room thru a side door instead of using the main entrance. Of course we could use the kitchen at any time.
My girlfriend forgot one of her dresses in the closet, and we sent a message to Michele and Chiara. They just asked for an address and sent it, no pre postage payment...no nothing, they just sent it. Superb service!
Thank you for a pleasant stay. If we travel along the east coast again we'll visit you once more for sure!
Best B&B we have stayed at by far in Italy and the most hospitable hosts you could ever wish for. Unfortunately we could only stay for one night as they were full on the weekend but I'm so glad we did. Michele showed us how to make Pizza, the Italian way, and we had a lovely dinner with the family, dogs cats and all! Chiara and Michele also advised us of the best beaches in the area and even offered to give us a personal tour around town which we would have gladly taken up except my husband was not well. As english speaking foreigners, it was an amazing experience and we all enjoyed many laughs as we swapped travel stories and dechipered eachothers languages. Lucky for us their English is much better than our Italian. The room is spotlessly clean, very spacious and offers a stunning view of the countryside. You can tell a lot of thought and care has gone into designing the room right down to the emergency fire evacuation plans. Breakfast included cereal, homemade croissants and marmalade tart, coffee, tea biscuits etc and was very nice. Thank you Chiara, Michele and family for making our stay truely memorable and we look forward to practicing our pizza making skills when we get home.
Bellissima.
I thoroughly enjoyed my Ancona experience because of this wonderful family! Their home is in a peaceful national park. Quiet, safe, and very clean! They were so kind to pick me up, invite me to join them for a homemade pizza dinner and to take me into Ancone to explore. It was everything and more that I was looking for.
This was a paradise for me. If you like the calm and serenity of the country, it is the place for you. The room was big, clean and smelling good. The view from the balcony was awesome. The breakfast was delicious with a homemade pie and freshly squeezed orange juice. There was also cookies, cereales, coffee,... Chiara and her family were awesome. She picked me up at the train station and brought me to the ferry. She had a book of stuff to do in the region. I also shared dinner with them since it was rainning outside. At the end of my stay, I was sad to go away from this friendly place and family.
About the Host, Chiara
