Fran was an excellent host, she showed the property well and was available for any additional information/questions during our stay without imposing upon us. The beautiful garden and courtyard pool was a sun trap during the day and disguised the fact that we were so close to the city centre. The neighbourhood was typical French suburbs but the fantastic tram link in to the city centre was at the top of the street less than 5mins walk, to walk into the old town actually only taking 25-30mins strolling. Around the corned was a chain store with all we could need and we used the markets in the town for delicacies. The old town area has a real buzz with a huge range of restaurants from cheap to expensive and all we sampled being great. We highly recommend Fran and this property along with a great City to visit.

Tasteful, cosy furnished flat with a tropical garden and pool. Quiet place, good for sleeping, walking distance to the ancient town center of Montpellier.

Fran's place is beautiful, a self sufficient little anex apartment with use of the lovely garden and pool. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Even though the location feels very quiet and serene it's only a 10min walk from the city centre and there is a tram stop right at the end of the road- perfect! A great stay in Montpellier!

BAD experience. NOT recommended. 1. Wifi doesn't work unless you're in the garden or you stick your hand outside the bathroom window. I assume the wifi is placed in her own house, which is facing this house. If you plan to work or watch videos in the sofa, forget it. 2. No coffee machine. 3. Bathroom stinks humidity. 4. No washing machine. 5. Really cracky kitchen utensils (please read the french comment below, they say the same thing). If you plan to cook, you'll have a difficult time. 6. The beach is not 30 minutes by tram. Yes, the ride in the tram is 30 minutes but then you have to walk 45 minutes until you get to the beach. 7. The best part is the garden but you can use it if "you are quite". The garden is shared with the host (she lives just in front) and I don't see myself with swimming clothes facing her and her friends. 8. There is a huge piece of wood 2 meters high just outside the house (you see it in picture 3) so that you don't see the host in her living room and she doesn't see you. That blocks most of the light. 9. I asked the host if I could checkout at 5pm. She answered me that another family was coming and that I needed to ckeckout at 12:30. It was impossible because she sent me a text on the same day of the checkout and I was working. My kids were at home with my mom and she pretended to kick them out. After a few messages (I was in meetings) she said that I could do whatever I wanted. I checked her airbnb calendar and her house was free for the following 5 days... It's a pity I can't attach the screenshot I did of her calendar. I've been a host myself in airbnb for many years now. At the time of writing, I have much better rankings than this host. I have broad experience with airbnb and no intention to be untruthful. Everything described here is 100% truth. The host will defend her property: of course she will, it's her business. My only intention here is to avoid you to have a bad experience as mine. Don't get carried away by the nice pics of the swimming pool.

Response from Fran:
