In an oasis charming 2 calms rooms

House - Entire home/apt · Rue d'Oran, Montpellier, Languedoc-Roussillon 34000, France

My grand mother’s house is open all year around. It’s 10 mn walk to town centre and the station, only 1mn from the tram stop “Voltaire“. In 30 mn tram takes you to the beach and sea side restaurants.

The Space

The accomodation is simple and has its own entrance and is separate from the main house by the pool and charming garden which you are welcome to use. The functional kitchnette enables you to enjoy your meals inside or by the pool. The bathroom with shower is designed with traditional stonework and rustic charm. The light bedroom has an antique tiled ground in carreaux-ciment and a comfortable bed in 140 cm. The living room is just in front the garden with a large library and the second comfortable bed (120 cm) for 2 juniors or thin persons.
You would be ideally placed to enjoy the town centre on foot, by tram or car !

  • Beautiful place! And Francoise is a very nice and helpful person. We would come back to this place for sure when we visit Montpellier again. It was a great stay.

  • I would love to give 5 stars cos it was heaven in so many ways - brilliant location, lovely quiet street yet so central. Villa Louise is enchanting and Francoise a dream (she responded to our requests promptly and with humour) and her dog Angie a joy to encounter poolside. The little Villa is charming but very simply furnished - def part of its charm. Don't expect all mod cons and Ikea lines. The internet connection is not great - Francoise did all she could to sort it for me but it was very intermittent (v frustrating when I had to work). We had a wonderful week here and will definitely choose this location if/when we return.

  • Nice and spacious apartment in very quiet neighbourhood yet only a pleasant 10 minute walk away from the historical centre! Tramstop line 3 and bakery shop at 1 minute walking distance. Lidl supermarket at 2 minutes walking distance. The beautiful garden is a nice bonus!

  • We had a lovely stay at the garden house.
The reception was great and welcoming. Guidebooks for Montpellier were provided. The communciation with Francoise before arrival was good.
It"s a charming house about ten minutes walk from La Comedie. Everything is at hand. There's a useful kitchenette, a spacious bathroom and two spacious rooms. Her garden is like a forgotten corner of Paradise. All in all this was a very good stay. Merci beaucoup Francoise, we already recommended it to friends in Belgium.

  • Nice place to stay in Montpellier. It's close to the city center. Francoise is a friendly and helpful person. Unfortunately the rooms weren't clean.

Unfortunately you didn't ask help and we will clean it again !

  • A great location, truly a calm oasis in town. So convenient for the tram, the baker and butcher and for all the ingredients necessary for simple, delicious meals to prepare in the basic but adequate kitchen and to savour by the quiet pool in the garden. Easy starting point to visit the local sights of Montpellier or to go further afield! We should love to return!

    Francoise was very kind.

    Merci.

  • Very calm place, where we splept and enjoyed our short stay in Montpellier. Francoise is very friendly and welcoming and gave us good advice about where to visit and eat ...
The place has some charm and I especially liked the nice bathroom and the really super garden. The wifi room is just pleasant and practicle, it's give onto the garden. The house is very well situated for trams and walking into the centre.

  • you are welcomed by a friendly who nevertheless reeks of tobacco smoke.
Things to konw is that she has no idea about presentaion. The orange bedsheets were not fresh and the towels smellled oh home tobacco odour.
The door lock is knucle-shaving close to door reabte, the toilet seat rotates wildly, the shower nozzle flops, the refuse bin is a shopping bag under the sink..and its a dark and miserable place.
You get the impressin from the pics that the flat overlooks the pool. This isnt so as the therapy room which ajoins flat does but not your space.
Thw wifi only works from common room so you cant use it while theres a therapy session between 5-9pm..pretty useless.
    overall a creepy experience.

    Response from Fran:

What is terrible it is to say inaccurate things, I never work in the WiFi room but in my own house. The WiFi room has a library where you can stay at your convenience and go so to the garden. The linen is changed of course after every location, we would have changed again the linen on your demand with pleasure. The beak of shower is new! There is no trash can under the lavabo! It is a box with a bag of washing powder for your use. Sorry, the trash can of the bathroom is just nearby toilets, it's strange you didn't see it !
