This room has two single beds, a panel heater on the wall, and is light and neat with windows opening west and south onto the garden. Lean back against your headboard and through the window you can do bird watching.
There is a coffee station, including SA's famous herb tea, Rooibos.
The bathroom, not en-suite but exclusive for the use of this room, is just 2 meters away from your bedroom door. There is a fireplace in the shared lounge area.

The space
Lean back against your headboard and through the window you will spot a Wild pomegranate tree (Burchellia bubalina, indigenous to SA) which is feasted upon by many birds, mainly sunbirds, a nectar feeding bird.
The house has a large garden where one can rest and meditate and wander. 1km walk will take you to booking offices for canopy tour, Segway trip and 2 km away is the gate to our Afro-Montain indigenous forest where walks are free.
The village offers a basic grocery store and a craft beer brewery, hotel and a variety of restaurants.
Opposite my house is a wild stretch of shrubs which is our famous Fynbos. There is a footpath in this area which will lead to The Bistro restaurant.
The wonderful Tsitsikamma National park, which has a protected marine reserve, is 15 km from the village.

Guest access
Guests can share the kitchen, lounge, relax at wood burning stove in the lounge, wander in the garden. There is safe parking behind an automated gate

Other things to note
We share the property with 3 dogs, a cat, a few chickens and 2 beehives. There is a pond at the edge of the veranda of which I would like the parents of toddlers to be aware.

Hello dear guests, I live in a beautiful part of S.A., close to the Tsitsikamma National Park, the Bungy Jump, the beautiful Afro-montaine forests, 2 ziplines, Segway rides and hiking trails. I'm a grandmother of 4 grandchildren who call me Gogo ( the Xhosa word for grandmother). I am I am a single woman, vegetarian (mostly), a passionate gardener, I love reading and have no TV . Another passion of mine is my ongoing vision to see that everyone in the village recycle their household refuse. I have 2 bedrooms listed, you may share the kitchen and there is a big garden in which you can wander. Come and enjoy all the adventure activities, the peaceful forests and this small village with its green gardens.
