My sister and came to Ireland to connect with family after a couple of generations away. We needed a comfortable, clean well-run place to stay while here so we could concentrate on our purpose. Tom & Rosie provided us with exactly what we needed and much more. They gave us generously of their time and knowledge and generally treated us more like friends than anything else.
We greatly appreciate their hospitality and couldn't recommend them highly enough.
Thanks again Tom, Rosie, Adam and of course Buddy.
We had a wonderful stay at Tom and Rosie's! Tom met us by the main road to guide us up the country lane to their beautiful home overlooking Lough Derg. They invited us in to chat and enjoy tea, scones and other yummy treats. It was so helpful to get lots of information about what to do in the area as well as suggestions about restaurants. Their apartment is very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The large windows open up to the covered patio where we enjoyed having lunch on a sunny afternoon. Rosie and Adam were able to join us for more fun conversation. Our two year old grandson loved the big yard and all the books and toys to play with. This was a perfect location to explore the area around Killaloe and Lough Derg. Tom, Rosie and Adam made us feel like family. We highly recommend this beautiful place and would love to return one day.
My wife, Roz and I had the most enjoyable stay of our Ireland adventure so far at Tom & Rosie's accommodation. We were treated as old friends and they both went well out of their way to make our stay something special, which it certainly was. From the afternoon tea, through to the very comfortable and well stocked apartment and on to the great afternoon conversations over a few drinks, this visit had it all. The area around Killaloe is also brilliant. We only have one genuine regret .... that we didn't book for longer. We will next time. Thank you Tom & Rosie.
Tom and Rosie were exceptionally great hosts. They definitely went out of their way to make us feel at home and special. And their garden apartment was incredibly comfy, beautiful, and WHAT A VIEW! As if that wasn't enough, they both gave us plenty of travel advice and recommendations. The location is superb, near all of the best that the southwest of Ireland has to offer, and nestled in a small quiet lake town. We will definitely be back if they will have us!
Tom, Rosie and Adam were incredible hosts who went above and beyond any expectations I had. They made us feel right at home and did everything they could to help us, answered any questions we had and suggested places for us to visit in a large, organized binder created by Rosie. They were incredibly friendly and had tea, coffee, scones and other snacks waiting for us when we arrived. The apartment we stayed in was very clean, well organized and stocked with foods and drinks. With five of us staying there, we had plenty of room for us and all of our belongings. The view from the apartment was absolutely breathtaking and we could have walked for hours in their beautiful countryside surroundings. I would definitely stay with Tom, Rosie and Adam again and will recommend their place to anyone who is looking to have a beautiful place to stay in Ireland.
We had a lovely time at Tom, Rosie and Adam's appartement despite the rain!
They welcomed us with scones tea etc., wonderfull, and were very helpfull and full of advices for us!
Thanks to them we had a lovely horse ride, and did a lot of really nice visits!
Thanks to the 3 of you and we are very sorry we couldn't say goodbye when we left
Our first experience with Airbnb hosted by Tom and Rosie has so far not been matched and may never be. The welcome was like a family visit, the place clean and fit and the view perfect. We visited many sites within an easy drive and found many of the people very hospitable which just added to our whole experience with our hosts. We didn't really have to plan, just ask or look at the information Tom and Rosie has gathered.
We were pretty much off on our own during our stay but were assured that anything we needed, all we had to do is ask.
Loved it. Nothing to improve. Need to go back some day.
