Hotel 20th street was very comfortable. The pool area was great, and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we were given had a very smelly and dirty bathroom, the shower was also broken. We asked to change rooms and the next one was clean and functional. The staff set us up with a great tuk tuk driver and tour guide for Angkor Wat. Also the Khmer food was great at the hostel.
The hotel is excellent, including good service and nice staff. The tuktuk driver, Phireak, is super friendly.
This place was pretty underwhelming, to be honest. The facilities are totally fine but for some reason everything just seemed ... off. The owners (?) were a group of Europeans, who were generally standoffish and aloof. They mostly sat amongst each other sharing existential crises about the hospitality industry. I don't think one of them said hi to us once the entire time. I asked one of the guys for help briefly and I've never seen anyone (especially in the service industry!) react so viscerally and nervously. It was pretty weird. I just wanted my room key...sorry man.
Our room didn't get serviced once, and there was a lot of confusion amongst the staff about their restaurant/cocktail menu. For what it's worth, the staff was really friendly, but there definitely was a language barrier as they didn't speak that much English. This made it hard to order things but also I was hoping to get some recommendations on what to do and see, but we were entirely on our own.
Location-wise, the place is fine. It's a little bit out of the way, maybe a 20 minute walk to the old market area where stuff happens, but it wasn't bad being a little farther away.
Also I'm still unclear if the rate includes a transfer to/from the airport or something. We didn't get one.
A/C was good and strong.
I was welcomed. The staffs are very friendly, always smiling. There were small bugs in my room and they responded really fast.
The swimming pool is also great, a bit salted, and whatever the request I made was completely understood and reacted fast.
Overall, it was quite a good stay.
The place was neat, and very clean. The most striking part of the place are the staff. They make you day smooth and are very warm, and kind. I would recommend this place.

Best wishes and regards,
I had great communications with Sarah before the trip including coordinating my arrival time at the airport so she could arrange a pickup. However there was nobody to pick us up when we arrived even after waiting 30 minutes, so we had to arrange our own transportation. That was very disappointing. The room itself was pleasant but there was construction going on so it was a bit loud plus there was a never ending layer of dust that was everywhere. The air conditioning wasn't very strong so it was always a little too hot in the room. The best part of the hotel was the pool and the restaurant across the street. An okay experience and obviously it could use much improvement.
This room looked exactly as pictured on airBNB. Staff was super helpful in coordinating tuktuk drivers and parts of our visit to Angkor Wat. They have a BEAUTIFUL first floor pool, lounge area, and great cocktails. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Siem Reap.
