Peace, and Beauty is what I love about our wonderful Village.
Once you are in town you will hear how Parking is A problem, that's because we are a small village with limited space and A lot to do. but by staying with us you can have your car parked by us and walk all over , You won't need to find parking, and when your car is needed, there is ample park anyplace outside of town such as Glimmerglass, the Breweries, ect, we also have Cabs that can be arranged if you are planning a night of fun and don't want to drive. There are old time Trollies that can be used for tours and transportation around town.
There is No Smoking in our house, and we prefer no shoes past the kitchen, we use the side door by the drive way but if you really would rather using the other doors please let me know. We have a big Back yard and you are welcome to enjoy it. We have a grill and if you need it just let us know. We want you to feel comfortable and will do a our best to make your stay enjoyable enough that you will want to come back and see more of what Cooperstown has to offer. We love Kids, dogs, and people that enjoy doing things, so feel free to come and get comfortable!
This listing should be entitled "Hidden Gem in Cooperstown". Wonderful artistic house, generous kitchen use, wonderful bed linens, close to town, and super hosts Alice and Sergio. Of our 14 nights the road the three in Cooperstown were absolutely the best!
Sergio and Alice were lovely hosts. I never got the chance to actually meet Alice but she was very organized and a great communicator. Her husband greeted us upon arrival and was very warm and welcoming.
Cooperstown is a unique experience. Most often associated with baseball Cooperstown is that and more. Delightful and friendly restaurants, Cooperstown Distillery, art, opera and fun shops all within walking distance. My stay was quiet and private, refreshing and rejuvenating.
Alice and her home were perfect! It was exactly what we were looking for and they made us feel very welcome. The location is perfect and we could walk everywhere. I definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a relaxing place in downtown.
Alice has a great home, made us feel very welcome upon arriving, and gave us some tips for the town. We had a very comfortable room with a shared bathroom. Cooperstown is only a short walk away - staying here was great because parking in Cooperstown can be $10 or so for the day.
Our host, Alice, was friendly and engaging throughout our stay. We were welcomed to a beautifully decorated large second floor room with a shared bath. All was comfortable as Alice and her husband allowed us access to most of her home. The location of the home was within easy walking distance to the center of Cooperstown and its famous MLB Hall of Fame. Restaurants in the area were great. Don't miss the breakfast buffet at Hotel Otesaga. It was a true bargain and delightful.
Wonderfully lovely accommodations! Very comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Walkable to anything you'd need in town!
