Cooperstown is for everyone and anyone, if your looking for things to take up every minute it can be done, if you need to find a quiet spot to be left alone it can be done, if you need to have culture, music, brewery tours, art, , we pretty much have it all. Peace, and Beauty is what I love about our wonderful Village.
Once you are in town you will hear how Parking is A problem, that's because we are a small village with limited space and A lot to do. but by staying with us you can have your car parked by us and walk all over , You won't need to find parking, and when your car is needed, there is ample park anyplace outside of town such as Glimmerglass, the Breweries, ect, we also have Cabs that can be arranged if you are planning a night of fun and don't want to drive. There are old time Trollies that can be used for tours and transportation around town.
There is No Smoking in our house, and we prefer no shoes past the kitchen, we use the side door by the drive way but if you really would rather using the other doors please let me know. We have a big Back yard and you are welcome to enjoy it. We have a grill and if you need it just let us know. We want you to feel comfortable and will do a our best to make your stay enjoyable enough that you will want to come back and see more of what Cooperstown has to offer. We love Kids, dogs, and people that enjoy doing things, so feel free to come and get comfortable!
My stay with Alice and Sergio was wonderful! Their home is warm and inviting but with plenty of space. Everything was impeccable! Alice makes everyone welcome and comfortable and there's always lots of coffee and healthy snacks available. The best part is that somehow many of the guests wind up sitting around the kitchen table, sipping coffee, having conversation, making new friends. Plus, their home is located within an easy walk of Cooperstown village and its amenities. Overall, as my first Airbnb, it was a great experience, especially as a solo traveler! I never felt like I was alone or disconnected as I might have been in a hotel. I'd highly recommend Alice and Sergio's to anyone, solo, couple or family.
Great experience with Alice and Sergio, they made us feel very much at home on our weekend in Cooperstown and gave us lots of good tips on local attractions. Sergio also had some great recommendations for cycling routes in the area and definitely made me glad I brought my bike. Highly recommended.
Alice and Sergio are fantastic hosts! The communication was easy, the house is beautiful, and little Piper the pup is the friendliest! We had a spectacular time in Cooperstown. Coffee, yogurt and fruit was ready every morning. Very modern updates on a beautiful, historic house. We'll be back next year, hopefully, for the General Clinton Regatta and for another great stay.
Going to Cooperstown and staying at Alice and Sergio's house was the perfect weekend away! Their house is extremely cozy and welcoming. The fresh towels and homemade soap that were in our room was very nice. Alice had great recommendations for restaurants and bars that were just a 5 minute walk into town, which was a huge plus! I suggest visiting the Ommegang Brewery and the rare and used book store in town. We really enjoyed our stay and hopefully will be back in the near future!
I had a great stay! Alice was very friendly and accommodating and the room was private and as advertised. The location was fantastic and very easy walkable to everything Cooperstown has to offer.
Thanks again it was a great visit and I would definitely return!
