Regarding to the iPod/music player that Mr. José Miguel forgot in my house, it makes no sense that he thinks I've had intended to keep that object, since I confirmed via AirBnB chat that I had found it. I just asked him to wait until it was possible for me to send him his belonging. Actually, I think the best solution to the problem (and to his hurry to have his device back) would have been hiring (on his part, of course, since it was him who forgot) a company that could collect it here at home and send to his address. I think it would have made ​​things easier, since there are several carriers that collect objects to be dispatched. And so he, Jose Miguel, would have solved the issue without my help, through the internet, even though I have not helped because of my ABSOLUTE LACK OF TIME, since I run a house full of guests for the World Cup and had no helpers for household chores. Let me explain: On the very day in which José Miguel checked out, my only one maid (DANIELLE, TEMPORARILY hired to help me during the World Cup) had fallen ill, and since then she no longer came to work. I was alone to meet 30 other guests who were still around. I had to clean daily all 15 rooms and shared spaces, 10 bathrooms, 4 kitchens, 2 laundry rooms and 3 TV rooms of this huge house. I think it is clear that Mr. Jose Miguel is judging people who he barely had time to meet (he was here for only two nights). Those whom he saw here and supposed to be my employees, apart from DANIELLE, are:1) JOEL - self-employed painter I hired to paint the entire house inside and out. As time was short for all this great task (the house is really huge), until the arrival of my guests to the World Cup, Joel had only managed to finish painting the internal parts of the house, and so remained working on to finalize the outer areas. Joel is from Northeast (Brazilian region that is very needy), he came from the countryside to work in the capital as standalone, making his own hours. He charged me for the full works of painting and is temporarily living in this house, until he can rent his own apartment. The fact that he is temporarily occupying one of the rooms sometimes means that he can extend his own working hours in order to complete his standalone service faster. It must have been in one of those times that Jose Miguel saw him working beyond the time of a regular working journey.2) JOAQUIM - standalone plumber that came here to fix a leakage occurred in one of the bathrooms.3) JOÃO - standalone mason who towed the bathroom wall damaged by such leakage. He is also my tenant, he occupies a small house built in the bottom of my space of 1000m² with his wife LUZIA. The housewife Luzia, seeing the huge flow of guests, saw in it a chance to work, by herself, performing some chores in exchange for some tips that many guests offered by gratitude and generosity. So, José Miguel may have seen her sometimes in the house, by her own free will.MARLLONY - international cuisine chef, he works nights at a prestigious Japanese restaurant near the house. He has been my tenant for over a year. He rents a room in my home, which is not a hostel, just a big house where I live with my family and rent rooms to supplement my low wage as a teacher in a Brazilian public school. To complement what he earns as an employee at night in that Japanese restaurant, Marllony decided to cook breakfast and lunch for my guests, partnering with my own son Stefano, student of gastronomy, who cooked afternoon snacks, dinner and appetizers. I lent free of charge to both of them the largest kitchen of the house, so they could serve meals and charge for it, but didn't give me any money for that. All I wanted was that all my guests were well catered for, nothing more. I have not had any profit over the breakfasts and lunches that MARLLONY prepared and sold here. I do not know about the Japanese restaurant where he is a regular employee (it's too expensive for me, I'm a poorly paid teacher in a Brazilian public school), but my guest Allen Moore (American who has been here for ten days) was there for dinner one time with his family and complimented it. By the way, speaking about this lovely American family (Allen Moore with his wife and teenage sons), I kindly ask everyone to read the review they left on my AirBnB page, with a full feedback of praise and sincere compliments, because they are righteous people, unlike José Miguel, who went public to slander me (and all this because of a music player that he forgot here and I have not had time to send to him...). As José Miguel knows, Allen Moore and his family occupied the room next to him, and shared with him the same bathroom. No spiders were found by any of the members of the Moore family (not in the room nor in the bathroom or anywhere in the house) and no rooster seems to have bothered them. They were here for 10 days (2 of them simultaneously with José Miguel), being friendly with me and everyone. Like José Miguel, Allen Moore's family and most of the other 30 guests also interacted with my assistant Danielle and all those that were here doing some service, but only José Miguel drew unfounded conclusions, relying solely on his erroneous observations. I would also ask everyone to read the review posted by guest Matthew Harris, who held the same room that José Miguel stayed at, having done his check in on the same day that Jose Miguel checked-out.

I apologize for dust and noise from the works. It's because I'm building new rooms with better bathrooms that will be finished in a few days.
About breakfast, yes we serve, but it is charged separately, as reported in advance on this site. We also serve lunch and dinner if guest prefer homemade food. If not, there are good restaurants close in around here.
Our neighborhood is quiet and bucolic, a safe place to relax in peace, away from the stress of the big city, but quickly connected by several bus lines, taxis, bicycles or our private cars, always available to our guests.
Our big family (relatives, friends and employees) apologizes for any inconvenience happened. I'm so sorry for not having said goodbye to you before your trip, cause I had to leave urgently that morning. Adriano had made a small trip and could not keep up with you, but I hope Janio had been kind and helpful. We all feel honored to have hosted you and we guarantee that next time, when the house works are all ready, you will be better served by us.
