The riad is only let to one client at a time and is very central, only a couple of minutes from the main square, Jemaa el-Fnaa, and a stone's throw from the bustle of the souks but in spite of its central location, Dar Musique is an oasis of peace and tranquility.

When we were planning our trip to Marrakech we wanna to stay in one of the city luxury hotels, a friend recommend Airbnb. After staying at Maggie's Riad I can say that it was an excellent idea to try her place. It is an incredible home within the actual Medina, easy to access, great location, elegant, well decorated, charming, culturally rich, and Abdul the administrator is an excellent host that help us with all our plans and needs. Abdul make our last night amazing, hard to forget. Also Maggie was available at all times for questions and concerns.
Great time in Marrakech in Dar Musique riad. Abdu met us at the entrance to the Medina and guided us to a lovely, quite retreat. He was attentive and helpful. Maggie checked in via text, and other than our inability to get the door unlocked it was a wonderful stay.
We had an incredible time staying here. Maggie answered all our questions prior to our arrival promptly. All the staff at the riad were amazing and made sure we were well looked after. The meals cooked, especially the eggs at breakfast and chicken tajine we had one day for lunch, were delicious. The pool and roof top terrace are lovely and all the rooms of the riad are decorated beautifully. The riad is perfectly located in the middle of the medina making it easy to get around. I would highly recommend staying here.
The Riad was better than the pictures,it was a real palace! You open a door from the street into an oasis, the team made us really welcome.
We had breakfast daily and three additional meals during our week long stay, all were excellent.
Would happily have stayed longer .... Great just to spend the days on the terrace and by the pool.
The pool was a solace in the middle of Marrakech. Our road manager set us up on our Sahara tour just to be nice and was extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and they accommodated us even during Ramadan. Our flight was also over an hour late and without any phone communication, our cab driver waited at the Airport for us at 1am. Very central location and a beautiful terrace. What a treat.
This is an incredible place to stay in Marrakech! Dar Musique is a palatial oasis tucked away in a quiet back street that is also a short distance away from the souks, Place Jemaa El Fna and Koutoubia Mosque, which prove to be amazing landmarks for finding one's way home (we got terribly lost deep in the souks the on first day). In the blazing 40c heat, this riad had every facility needed whether it was the refreshing deep pool (i'm 5'11" and found it great) to quickly cool off, the air conditioning in bedrooms or the enormous terrace (complete with sunbeds) for a quick tan and game of scrabble, we truly were spoilt for choice. Abds and Behja were both fantastic too; Abds ensuring we were enjoying every aspect of our stay and Behja providing us with mouth watering breakfasts (yum!).
Maggie herself is a fantastic host, who proved quick to reply to any questions that we had when both in England and Marrakech.
Already planning our next stay!
About the Host, Maggie
Maggie’s passion for Morocco struck over ten years ago on a visit to Marrakech. I immediately fell in love with Marrakech and purchased a riad in the medina, I called it Dar Musique as my husband is a music composer. I was seduced by the vibrant interactive energy of the city and attracted to its mystery and maze of secrets, Marrakech is a city that never fails to intoxicate and inspire. I now divide my time between London and Marrakech and love to share Dar Musique’s delights with guests. Dar Musique has been featured worldwide in Newspapers, Magazines and Books. Maggie has a BA degree from the University of Sussex in Creativity and the Arts, works freelance as an Advertising TV Producer and is a massive arts and cultural fan.
