Tara and Peter were as lovely as they come! So very accommodating and made our stay a much needed relaxing experience. The room is perfect for a couple looking for a lovely vacation in Santa Cruz. The morning breakfast goodies and coffee were such a plus and we loved opening the French doors each morning to greet the day.
Tara is a warm and easy to talk with person. Her lovely bnb was even nicer than described with French Doors opening onto a charming deck with comfy seating as well as table and chairs for al fresco dining.
We were provided with a tasty and nutritious array of breakfast choices, fruit, yogurt , cereal, croissants and gluten free crazy good muffins as well as tea, coffee and juice.
Tara made me feel very welcome. Greeted me when we arrived. Friendly, and very communicative promptly with texts. Gave very good recommendations on restaurants. The description was exactly as described. Clean, Quiet, very comfortable bed, good breakfast and sunny and bright. Excellent location close to beach. Walking distance. And the bikes to use were great too! I would definitely return here again. :)
Twin Palms Bed and Breakfast was awesome! Tara was very sweet. She provided fresh fruit, yogurt, and croissants for breakfast each morning. We loved the location! My husband and I walked to the ocean every morning to watch the surfers. We also used Tara's bikes and rode to Capitola. The room was very private and had everything we needed, even a private deck to relax on.
Tara was a lovely host. The room and terrace was spectacular and it was an absolute pleasure to stay in this comfortable home in a great location. We made great use of the bikes that Tara kindly provided. The breakfast provided was a really nice touch. We would definitely stay again.
Tara was a warm, welcoming and very accommodating host. We loved staying in her beautiful master suite, with beautiful light, a garden balcony, a delicious breakfast and coffee and bikes to rent. Her family was extremely helpful, and we would book again in a second.
About the Host, Tara
I love living in the Pleasure Point neighborhood of Santa Cruz; people are friendly, and walk in the neighborhood. My dogs go to the beach every day to explore and play with other people with their dogs, kids building sand castles, and watch the many surfers taking advantage of the breaks.
I teach yoga, practice myself, and work privately with individuals, encouraging them to slow down, breathe, and occupy our bodies
My son, Peter, lives in the house; he is a chef at a well know Hotel/Restaurant in Santa Cruz..
I'm happy to help you find your way around town and visit a bit, and also like my space so am happy to give you yours. We don't like surprises (don't bring guests we haven't been told about, or ?)...We like clear communication.
