  • Tara was absolutely wonderful. She had everything organized and ready for our stay. The suite was a very private, quiet and relaxing setting, exactly what we were looking for. The location is ideal for walking and biking to the coastline and Capitola. All-around great place to stay!

  • We had a great time in Santa Cruz staying at Tara's place. It is a cozy and spacious room, with a balcony right off the bedroom and a large bathroom right next door. Just like the pictures portray. Tara is hospitable and aims to give as much privacy as she can within her home. It was a great experience and I would be happy to stay there again!

  • Twin Palms was perfect! My husband and I were vacationing in Santa Cruz for a few days and we had the best time and felt very comfortable at Tara's B&B. She was so welcoming and her dog Lili is darling. The suite was comfortable and clean and Tara's breakfast goodies were delish! It is right by the beach and in easy walking distance to a lot of great restaurants.

  • My first time with Air BandB was at Twin Palms and the room at Tara's was everything I could have hoped for ! Tara is a sweetheart and made me feel at home with fresh berries and juice and yogurt and biscotti's and granola and croissants - it was great to have healthy snacks - I was in town for my sons graduation and the whole weekend was perfect - I see more Air BandB trips in my future ! I would highly recommend Tara's - the room and amenities , the location - and the wonderful host - everything any traveler could hope for ! Thanks for the first of many adventures with air BandB !

  • My husband and I had a really lovely stay at the Twin Palms. Tara has given thought to everything you might need in your suite (coffee, biscotti, fruit, yogurt, granola, etc.). Amazing location, just a few blocks walk from Pleasure Point. The bed was also incredibly comfortable! Thanks again Tara!

  • This was our first airbnb experience. Tara made us feel welcome, and was easy to deal with. The room was spacious, modern, and full of light. The weather was sunny, so we took advantage of the private patio at the end of each day to relax with a glass of wine and plan dinner. The biggest surprise was the beautiful cliff promenade extending from a park a couple of blocks way, nearly to Capitola. Lots of surfers, joggers, and folks out for a stroll. The neighborhood is quiet and clean, a mixture of upscale homes and funky cottages. Enjoy!

  • Had a great stay at Pleasure Point. The house is so close to the beach (with awesome surf spots) and the Pleasure Point board walk that we didn't use the car once in our whole stay. We were able to ride bikes (that were provided) to Capitola and other other fun spots. Highly recommend this location. Tara was (email hidden).

About
I love living in the Pleasure Point neighborhood of Santa Cruz; people are friendly, and walk in the neighborhood. My dogs go to the beach every day to explore and play with other people with their dogs, kids building sand castles, and watch the many surfers taking advantage of the breaks. I teach yoga, practice myself, and work privately with individuals, encouraging them to slow down, breathe, and occupy our bodies My son, Peter, lives in the house; he is a chef at a well know Hotel/Restaurant in Santa Cruz.. I'm happy to help you find your way around town and visit a bit, and also like my space so am happy to give you yours. We don't like surprises (don't bring guests we haven't been told about, or ?)...We like clear communication.
