The best thing about my place is location location location!
Other than pure, convenient, in the middle of everything location, this is also why my place is super duper...
It is two blocks away from Rittenhouse Square Park and the many many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shopping (Chestnut Street), grocery stores (Trader Joes), etc. that come with the area. It is 6 blocks away from South Street, Broad street and the subway, and Center City, and Logan Square which brings you to a short, nice walk through Ben Franklin Parkway to the Philadelphia Museum of Modern Art (Rocky steps). Often going unnoticed, it is also 3 blocks away, is the beautiful walkway of the Shuylkill River. Not to mention all surrounded by a safe, scenic, positive neighborhood. I really love where I live:)
My place is a medium sized studio. It has a living room area that has a bed that fits two people comfortably, a couch, a table, a place to hang your clothes and a dresser/cubbys to put your other possessions in. There is also a separate kitchen area and a separate bathroom area and a separate storage closet. Although the place works best for one or two people a third and fourth person could stay here quite easy as well if you don't mind being a little crammed. The couch folds down into a bed and it is not as comfortable as a real bed obviously but it works and is doable. There is a TV with cable in this large room and AC, heat, and wifi all throughout the place. (please take a look at the pictures, the bathroom is on the smaller side and for someone who is very large in weight, unfortunately, might not be able to fit. Please check with me first if this defines you).
Anyway, I keep my apartment very clean and communicate very well and am a pretty easy person to get along with! Like I mentioned above I can have an erratic schedule so sometimes I don't meet guests. I have friends who sometimes help me out with cleaning and handing off keys or I sometimes leave them in a secret, safe spot for you to pick them up that's easy so please keep that in mind if you book. Hope to hear from you:)

Their place was great. Cozy, comfy, in a fun, safe neighborhood. And they were incredibly responsive, accommodating hosts.
I liked the studio apartment, and will certainly try to book it again if I'm back in this part of Philadelphia.
Since I was only in Philadelphia for about 14 hours (and not on the most convenient schedule), Nicola's ability to deliver the keys without meeting face-to-face was quite convenient.
The description is completely accurate. The furniture has been slightly rearranged since the photos were taken, but otherwise, they are accurate also.
The neighborhood is very scenic. I wish I'd brought my camera. It also seemed reasonably safe to walk around, even well after dark.
Nicola's warning about the bathroom is accurate. An obese guest will be unable to get to the toilet, particularly if they're also short.
You need to walk up/down 5 steps in order to get in and out of the apartment. If you're mobility impaired, this may not be a good choice.
There's a fair amount of noise from the street. The apartment has several methods of generating white noise, which worked well for me. However, if you are the kind of person who requires silence in order to sleep, this studio will not work for you. In fact, I suspect you might have problems in any part of the neighborhood.
Arranged this place for colleagues of mine from overseas and their feedback was Fantastic apartment, very comfortable, and very close to the hotel where their conference was. Nicola and Mike were very helpful to these foreign guests and so all around a great experience for them.
Great location for a short stay in Philadelphia. Nicola is very responsive. Just a warning if you are sensitive to noises, there is a water pump for the building that produces a continuous noise in the apartment. There's a white noise machine in the apartment that will help tune it out.
The flat looks just like the photos and is very cozy; perfect for a long weekend in Philly.
We had a great stay here! The apartment totally met our needs--the location was fantastic and the space was perfect for hanging out and even preparing a lovely meal one night. Nicola also accommodated our schedule by ensuring that the apartment was ready earlier in the day. We so appreciated it! Looking forward to staying there the next time we're in Philadelphia!
Our stay at Nicola and Mike's apartment was amazing! The apartment was cute and cozy but the best part was its location. We walked everywhere in Philly, even on the coldest day we were there. There are also lots of good restaurants around so that was nice too, although the apartment does come with a fully functioning kitchen so cooking is also an option.
Communication with Nicola was great. She is very helpful, even giving us restaurant recommendations one of the nights we stayed there. I only spent 3 days in Philly, which was definitely not enough to do everything i wanted to do but i plan to come again soon and i will book again with Nicola!
Nicola's place is very sweet and cozy. Location is great and the neighborhood is very quiet. Nicola is very nice and friendly. We really enjoy our stay.
Great experience! Clean, cute, well-maintained apartment. Very good communication, easy to get in and out, absolutely no issues. Fantastic place for the modest amount that they charge. I made a 2-day trip to philly for a meeting and this was perfect. Would definitely recommend to friends and stay here again. Thanks!
The place was great! Nice, close to UPenn, close to the Schukyll for running, close to Rittenhouse and my favorite coffee (La Colombe) in the city...
Very nice! Thanks again.
