Awesome property and we enjoyed the pool. Gretel and Sigi worked with us graciously with our check-in and check-out times. We loved all of indoor and outdoor space.

Gretel was great to communicate with. She answered all my questions and booked a tour for us. She also accommodated our late check-out request. Our family of 6 stayed in June for 2 nights. The house was extremely comfortable for our group - LOTS of space in the house and on the decks and patios, comfortable beds, great A/C, wonderful pool. We rented the additional bedroom downstairs which was really a one room apartment with a bathroom and kitchenette. The house is in a great location for the area. We went to Manual Antonio National Park which was 10-15 minutes away. Nice restaurants were only 5 minutes away. We also went to Quepos for a few grocers, lunch and a little shopping. This was only 10 minutes away. You really are centrally located at Gretel's house, yet it is just off the busy road so very little traffic. We also so spider monkeys right on the road the house is on. What a treat! Highly recommend this house if staying in the Manual Antonio area!

We had the most spectacular stay at Gretel's place. I would urge anyone reading this to go ahead and book, you won't regret it! The house is lovely and very large, with comfortable beds and a spacious all-in-one living area. The outdoor spaces are also fabulous. We spent six happy days here as a family of four with two kids aged 4 and 2. It's a great place for young children, very practical, with indoor space all on one level, a huge laundry with washing machine and dryer, and great shady terraces with room for playing and hammocks/swings. The pool is brilliant for kids with a shallow area where they can splash and play at ease without parents worrying. They loved the iguana who lives by the pool and fed him lettuce every morning! We saw monkeys, toucans, macaws and loads of birds from the garden. I should also mention the superb kitchen with everything you need. And Gretel is a great host, checking in regularly and booking excursions for us. Also Sigi the maintenance man was very friendly and helpful. As you can tell from this gushing review, I highly recommend!!

Great location. Great home for family and friends. I highly recommend this airbnb. Sigifredo is the maintenance guy who stops by daily to water plants. He can help book activities. If he offers to sell you ceviche... buy it 2000 colones. It's the best I've ever had.

Casa Camino Viejo exceeded our expectations. Our family, which includes two teenagers, was very comfortable and loved everything about the home. Gretel was great to work with and arranged a guided tour of Manuel Antonio for us. And Sigi was very responsive and kind enough to show us some of the unique plants and trees on the grounds. The pool and resident iguana were a highlight. The beds were great. The kitchen had everything we needed. And the pool, hammocks, and deck with a view were what makes this place special. We had a rental car and found the location very central and easy to get to Manuel Antonio, restaurants, Quepos, and Rainmaker Park. Its very unique and a hidden gem for the area if you like some privacy and space to relax.

Beautiful property and gorgeous pool. Sigi was a wonderful help as we had a flat tire as soon as we got there. He took us to a garage and helped us get it fixed quickly. He was full of tips and information.
