Historic Montford home. 3 blocks from the civic center and downtown. This is an old home in a wonderful neighborhood. The space has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath with a common hallway area where you’ll find a small fridge, coffee and snacks. The larger room has a king and an air mattress is available. The space has character, very comfortable, very clean, and very convenient to all that asheville has to offer. It’s short walk to downtown, coffee shops, restaurants, bars and breweries.

The space
Old home in historic neighborhood. You’ll have the whole 2nd floor to yourselves and access to the front yard and porch. There is a private stairwell to the second floor. There are two bedrooms, and a bathroom. In the common hallway you’ll find coffee and a fridge and some snacks provided. I live on the first floor. We may see each other come and go but the spaces are separate and private. Pets are welcome at an extra charge of $45 as long as they’re well behaved. Guests are responsible for any damages by pets

Other things to note
I have 2 dogs that live downstairs with me. This is an old house. If you have severe allergies this may be a problem. Also there is a stairwell to access the space so it may not be ideal for all guests. This is a very quiet home. It is a cigarette/smoke free home. If the house smells like smoke there will be an additional $100 fee assessed. The bathroom has a claw foot tub which is not ideal for all guests. There is no cooking and no kitchen in the space. Coffee, fridge, snacks provided. The space is set up like a hotel suite with two private bedrooms and a shared bathroom.

I’ve lived in Asheville since 1997. Originally moved here for school and stayed. I bought the Flint street house 2016 and have lived in the neighborhood since 2003. I have two dogs Diesel and Indy. I enjoy all that Asheville has to offer and would be happy to share it with you. Feel free to ask me about anything.
