This gracious timepiece pristinely captured in it's 1930's origin is log constructed. 1 double bed bedroom & 1 double&twin bunk bedroom, bath, dining room and log beamed living room with huge signature stone fireplace.

As you step through this portal in time... take a deep breath of mountain air and listen to her whisper, "Welcome Home, Life's Traveler"

We supply most things for your stay including fire wood for a 2-4 hr romantic fire, and morning coffee. Having a special event? Let us know.

The space
In the early 1930's this VanHorn cabin made its mark in the Valley of the Falls, just across the road from year 'round Mill Creek. With most modern amenities hidden from view, when you walk through the door its like stepping into the past with bold log constructed walls, grand stone fireplace and peaked/log beamed living room ceiling. The 2 bedroom are separated by bathroom and dining room for added privacy.

Other things to note
The CabINN of the Falls sits within the community of Forest Falls at about 5800' of elevation. Forest Falls is surrounded by National Forest and the CabINN is a short hike to the tallest year 'round waterfall in Southern California, Big Falls. Experience a winter wonderland of snow or cool summers just 25 minutes from the valley below.

The CabINN is conveniently located just a block from downtown Forest Falls where you will find Elkhorn General Store, El Mexicano Cafe, San Gorgonio Wildlife Gallery plus Gillmore Real Estate... "mountain property specialist since 1925".

Forest Falls is served by a Verizon cell site just a short block away from the Cabinn, your reception should be excellent however it only supports those with Verizon cellular access.

The Cabinn provides a nice entertainment system with Flat Screen, Dish TV, Blue-Ray wifi player, CD and VHS units.

Guests are required to leave the Cabinn tidy with your trash bagged and any kitchen use fully cleaned.

At checkout you may leave the key on the table and lock the door behind you or return the key to Gillmore Real Estate, putting it through the mail slot to the left of the front door if after hours.

Travel Scenic Hwy 38 to 6000' high Forest Falls. Gentle curves and majestic vistas introduce you to one of natures wonderlands, the Valley of the Falls. Precipitous mountain ridges, year 'round waterfalls, hiking trails, peaks, crags and specimen tall trees await you. Many refer to Forest Falls as "little Yosemite".

CabINN of the Falls is located within the community, across the street from year 'round Mill Creek and a short hike to the Big Falls Waterfall or either the Momyer or Vivian Trailheads for hiking into the San Gorgonio Wilderness. Many guests prefer to access Mill Creek and simply hike up the creek for several miles.

If entering the Wilderness, permits may be required for both day and overnight access.

A 40 year resident of the small Southern California mountain community of Forest Falls where I own the local real estate business. I believe in community, having served 27 years on the water board, presided over the acquisition, rehab and running of Big Falls Lodge, our community center and since 1987 have been the Administrative Captain responsible for our local fire station. My wife Patricia and I love to travel, and accommodate guests to our community with an authentic 1930's log home, Cabinn of the Falls, as a vacation rental. Photography is one of my many passions with an emphasis on bird and wildlife.
