About This Listing
We have been taking guests in our own family home for over 20 years. We have a spacious twin room available to rent. Great access to Dublin's delights is available via our 5 bus routes. Its history, culture and pubs are just on your doorstep
This is a large detached home, situated on a quiet road with no through traffic. We love to talk if people want to talk! Over the years we have catered for the Lead Teachers from the People to People Student Ambassador programme in the US. We enjoyed this hugely, and so are branching out into the AirBnB area. Our family have moved out and we have empty rooms now, and so we would enjoy the company of guests and visitors.
Mostly it is 1 room is available, a twin room ... single occupancy is at €35 per night, with an extra guest at €25 sharing in the twin. But inquire if you need more beds ... depending on our children being away for extended periods we can accommodate more at times.
Directly nearby is the foothills of the Dublin mountains and the famous Wicklow Way walking route.
Rathfarnham Castle is just down the road ,as well as 5 great local parks including Marlay Park and Bushy Park.
A bus leaves our local bus stop every ten minutes, and provides ready access to the City Centre. The bus is definitely the best way to get around the city. Dedicated bus lanes avoid the daily traffic snarls.

Very clean, comfortable bed, bus stop to town was a easy walk away. Ger and Jean never failed to make sure I felt at home and had everything I needed. Fantastic!
Absolutely lovely house and couple. Very welcoming and accommodating, would definitely recommend to anyone
This is a first class B&B in a quiet and convenient part of Dublin. My son and I stayed there and Id recommend it for my daughter too when she visits. The house was meticulously clean. Beds very comfortable, lighting fast internet. Parking was convenient and free. Bus just down the road to city center. The host very welcoming and quite interesting people with the gentleman a retired master beer brewer. The house was easy to find very secure. It was a great place from which to launch our tour of Ireland to see family and friends. In true Irish hospitality fashion the warm welcome stays with us and we will book again. 5 stars all the way around. You will be lucky if there is room at the inn when you book.
All in a word ....EXCELLENT!!!
Thank you very much ..happy Easter
