Other Things to Note
NOTE: two weeks minimum stay.
Our two month stay at Eduardo’s home was fantastic. We liked the house so much that we asked if he would be interested in doing a long-term rental.
Our favorite was the back yard, large and entirely fenced and private. Also, a wonderful sunroom in the back of the house was a treat to watch the breeze and squirrels.
Overall, the house is comfortable and equipped with anything you may need. Also, the location was optimal for us: ten minute drive to downtown St. Paul and a short walk to Lake Como. The lake is a beautiful and relaxing space. The neighborhood is safe and quiet.
Finally, Eduardo was a fantastic landlord--very responsive and easy going. We highly recommend staying at Eduardo's home when in the Twin Cities.
This is a very nice house perfect for a small family in need of a temporary home in the Twin cities. The neighbourhood is beatiful and extremely quiet. As the host family was away traveling we never met in person, but arrangements had been made for local contacts which were very helpful. We stayed for three weeks and would definitely come back. We can only give this house and host the warmest recommendations.
We stayed in Eduardo's house for week while my family celebrated Mom's 80th birthday. The house is clean and spacious and the kitchen is well-equiped (we loved the Nespresso machine). There were a lot of personal knickknacks and other items around the house but there was plenty of room for our stuff. We spent most of our time on the gorgeous porch, chatting and sharing meals. The AC ran well and the house stayed dry during torrential rains.
When we first arrived, most of the cords in the house had been unplugged. Once I figured that out, I was able to get the WiFi up and running (very fast) and turn on lights and appliances. Eduardo responded to questions as quickly as he could, since he was traveling when we first got there.
The TV in the living room is old and cable is basic channels only. It didn't matter for us since we were there to visit family but others might miss it.
Overall it's a great house and we would be happy to stay here again.
We had a great experience at Eduardo's cozy Como home. It was the perfect size for our family and had everything we needed, even toys for the kids to play with! We especially loved the quiet and safe neighborhood and it's proximity to the park. It's just a 20 minute walk to the Como Zoo, which is free. Eduardo was very nice to work with, very communicative and always responded promptly. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. We hope we can stay here every time we come to St. Paul, Minnesota!
We stayed in this house for 32days. It is quite spacious , with everything one might need for a long or short stay. The kitchen is equipped with everything. Two tv, playstation console, wifi, printer to print a boarding pass, nespresso coffee machine. The interior design is good and pleasant. We saw squirrels and rabbits in the backyard. Pleasant neighborhood and close to the lake. Thank you
