About this listing
Splendid Victorian in the heart of the North Panhandle neighborhood of San Francisco. Beautifully appointed with all the amenities you could ask for. Just a short walk to the Muni line, there are restaurants and a grocery store just down the block.
This luxury Victorian apartment is newly renovated and fully furnished with a south facing deck. It is located on a quiet residential block in the popular Nopa neighborhood in the middle of San Francisco. The apartment has two separate bedrooms, each with a queen bed and is perfect for up to four adults or families with kids.
The apartment is conveniently located two blocks from Alamo Square (with the Painted Ladies), ten minutes walk to Haight Ashbury (Flower Power) and also very close to Golden Gate Park (hiking, biking, paddle boating and much more). If you are traveling with kids, there are also several playgrounds close by.
Within a few blocks you will find some of San Francisco's best restaurants, like Nopa, Bar Crudo, Ragazza, Nopalito, and plenty of cafes and bars. Check out the wonderful bakery and Cafe at the Mill on Divisadero and Grove. Two amazing supermarkets are also just one block away - BiRite and Falletti Foods. No need for a car around here. Several bus lines have their stop one block away, to go downtown or explore other neighborhoods of the city.
Parking is pretty good throughout the day too and there is a public lot (the DMV) one block away that offers evening and weekend parking for a fee. You do need to remove your car from the DMV lot by 7 AM to avoid a penalty.
If you can avoid bringing a car, it is recommended as the public transporation system in San Francisco is wonderful and stress free.
Some of the amenities include:

Interaction with Guests
The owner lives in the Lower Level and there are tenants who live upstairs. Please keep in mind that it is an old Victorian and noise can travel. That said, we do our best to keep the noise down.
There are a number of restaurants in the area and a wonderful gormet grocery store a block away on Broderick Street, just next to Peet's Coffee.
If you like to cycle, you can pick up the bike path just a few blocks over on Fell Street and ride all the way to the ocean, passing Golden Gate Park along the way.
We are just next to the #21 Muni line and the #5 is only a couple of blocks away. These will take you downtown.
A car is not needed in San Francisco and it is not recommended as parking can be a challenge at times in the neighborhood.
Other Things to Note
Sorry but at no time do we allow any sort of pets in the apartment. Many guests have allergies and so I maintain a place that is free from animal hairs. The apartment sleeps 4 people and I do ask that you not bring extra people when you stay.
No smoking is allowed at any time on the property.
We are early risers so no loud noises in the evening and no parties please.
We do not allow for pets
The Lady Di was fantastic as usual. We have stayed here before and keep coming back when we come to San Francisco. Great apartment in a perfect location for exploring SF. We stay with our 2 young daughters...place well suited for kids and location is close access to many parks and playgrounds.
We had a wonderful experience at The Lady Di! The space is truly amazing - everything from the beautiful design, comfortable rooms, and back patio/yard. Chris was great host and quick to respond when we had questions. The location is also incredible and very central in SF and close to delicious food options and Golden Gate Park. If you are looking for an amazing place to stay, look no further!
The Lady Di is a fantastic apartment - well equipped and beautifully decorated. We had a busy weekend in San Francisco and the location of the Lady Di was excellent, with easy access to some great places to eat and some of San Fran's tourist spots. When we wanted a morning off from the exploring though, the Lady Di was also a great place to relax and make a home-cooked meal, with plenty of space for the four of us. It is a very stylish apartment and Chris has paid great attention to detail - both in terms of the design and in the way he has furnished the rooms with everything you might need.
Chris was a great host. He was very accommodating and flexible and had thought of everything we might want for our stay. The bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival made us feel extremely welcome and he had even left notes about where to find amenities locally.
This was the first time we experienced AirBnB, and Lady Di has set a very high standard. We settled into the apartment within minutes, and it felt like a home outside of our actual home. The place is decorated with taste, very clean and welcoming. The host is very responsive and helpful. We had a great time here!
We LOVED our stay at The Lady Di! It was a great neighbourhood to be in and we really enjoyed the place- it was like a home away from home. Couldn't fault it!
Listing was very accurate. Owner provided fresh cut flowers, wine, and chocolate upon arrival. Location convenient to great coffee shop and grocery. Very comfortable.
We stayed at The Lady Di on Apr 30-May 4 and May (phone number hidden). I stayed there with my hubby, our 18mos son and my sister. It is a very beautiful apartment, well furnished with the finest things and very clean. We really LOVED our stay at The Lady Di but be careful with the beds because they are so comfortable. My son overslept few times so we had to reschedule some of our plan ;p (we even missed our 1st HoHo trip).
A welcoming package : a cut flower, a bottle of wine, and a box of chocolate.
Chris is extremely nice and helpful, we met him once before we left to Palo Alto. If you need something just shoot him an e-mail and he will respond it promptly.
It has a nice neighborhood. Right next to the bus station. Divisidero street just a block away (you can find grocery store, restaurants and also a hang out place there).
It's highly recommended and definitely we'll stay there again! But if you travelling with toddler please take care of your little one carefully to ensure she/he don't grab something.
