Nestled in the beautiful La Quinta Cove, find our gorgeous home with heated salt-water pool + hot tub, abundant natural light, stunning mountain views, fully-equipped chef's kitchen, giant master suite, designer decor and comfortable outdoor spaces to relax. Near hiking trails, Old Town La Quinta (restaurants, brewery, wine bar, shopping, farmer's market) and much more. The space
Located in the La Quinta cove 10 minutes from the Empire Polo Field, our second home is our little paradise. It's a pleasure to wake up here every morning and enjoy a cup of coffee while we take in the stunning mountain views from three sides and enjoy natural light in every room from five skylights. At night, you'll see tons of stars as we are in a "dark sky" area. We love to kick back by the gas fire pit and enjoy a relaxing evening, and hope you'll do the same. Our area is really quiet (no streetlights at night!), near many beautiful custom homes, and a spot that feels far from it all while still being in close proximity to festivals, restaurants, tennis, golf and concerts.

Our home is just a few walkable blocks to Bear Creek Hiking Trail. We're on an elevated lot with views that makes the neighbors jealous, and are located just 5 minutes to Old Town La Quinta (LQ Brewing Co, great restaurants, Farmer's Market, wine bar, boutique shops, etc), 10 minutes to Trader Joe's and tons of other shopping and restaurants (check out the Cliff House for happy hour!). If you're in town for the festivals, we are 10 minutes from the site of Coachella Music & Arts Fest, Stagecoach, plus Indian Wells Tennis Stadium, SilverRock Resort and La Quinta Resort for golf, and much more.

While kids are welcome, it’s not the ideal spot for kids. There is a pool with no gate, a firepit with crushed glass and a few prickly plants. If your party will include children under the age of 12, we require the renting adult to sign an additional liability waiver accepting full liability for their well-being.

Spa can be heated by you as desired.

Pool is not kept heated. November through April, we can heat the pool upon request for an additional $35 per day (up to 86 degrees). The rest of the year, the pool is plenty warm from the sun! In fact, in July and August some guests think the pool is too warm — it’s in the high 80s most of the summer.

The garage is our private, personal space and we may occasionally need access to it during your stay. You may request to park up to one car in the garage during the summer months.

We do not have cable TV, but we do have a Smart TV that you can use to access your Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc accounts.

Reminder that this is our part-time home, not just a rental unit. Please treat it accordingly.

Neighborhood highlights

We are in a residential neighborhood, near hiking trails and at the "top of the cove" a short drive or bike ride to Old Town La Quinta. Lots of neighbors, so noise must be kept to a minimum after 10 p.m., but there's no problem with hanging out at the fire pit and hot tub late at night... just keep music and voices low.

Food... There's a great Mexican restaurant called Cafe Mendoza about 5 minutes away; we recommend it. Also, the La Quinta Brewing Co., which has a nice outdoor patio where you can enjoy local beers. Many other lovely and delicious restaurants in Old Town La Quinta as well... too many to list here. For those looking for quick or late-night eats, there's an In-N-Out (famous West Coast burger chain) 10 minutes away, plus other fast food, and the Beer Hunter, which serves food late and is also fun for pool or watching sports on TV. For upscale dining, we're five minutes from La Quinta Resort, which has some lovely restaurants; also, you can borrow their tennis courts after 5 p.m. if you're nice to the tennis pros (bring your own racquets and balls).
