Den/ second bedroom, closes with french doors. It has a sofa bed, cable TV and it won full bathroom.
Located in Providencia/ Bellavista area, close to subway, museums, restaurants and cafes. Amazing river and park views. It has two bedrooms (one opens as a den), wi-fi, cable TV, laundry room in building and parking space. It is an open and sunny space, filled with contemporary furniture and an antique chilean dining table.
There's a short walk to the Parque Forestal, the lively and interesting Latarria neighborhood and the Museum of Fine Arts (Bells Artes). The apartment is very close to bars and restaurants of Bellavista, but its great location makes it also quiet and peaceful. The subway is two block away, and you can cross one of the beautiful bridges over the Mapocho River to the Providencia area.
There's a long and narrow balcony that runs throughout the apartment, big enough, however, for a couple of chairs and small table. Perfect place for a drink at the end of the day.
Great apartment in a great neighbourhood...
We spent 7 Days in Manuel apartment.. loved the location. 2 min walk to Patio Bellavista with a great amount of "tourist" eats and local bars and local restaurants.. apartment had everything we needed for the week.. And Manuel sister made sure we got into the apartment O.K. and gave us local tips on restaurants/supermarkets etc.. We found the area very safe and had no problems walking back to the apartment at night.. Only one downside.. the internet is a little slow..fine for email and web browsing.. but not if you want to download a movie or TV show on iTunes...
This is a lovely apartment-- tastefully decorated, nice finishes, wonderful view of the mountains-- in an outstanding location-- near biking trails, San Cristobal Hill (for hiking and biking), the metro, bars and restaurants.
I had excellent communication with the hosts, who responded to requests quickly and efficiently and are genuinely thoughtful.
This is one of the best AirBnB experiences I've had and I expect to return.
The apartment is clean, modern and perfect for a couple like us, spending a month in Santiago. The building appears to be relatively new. It is well appointed with everything we needed. A small but modern kitchen, two TVs (!) with HDMI, two bathrooms, a master bedroom and den/lounge. The bed was comfortable. Each room has its own window doors opening to the large private deck with deck chairs. We loved the decor and art. An iron and board were good to have on hand. Cecilia, the manager, was super nice, helpful, on call for us, and spoke English! We only had a couple of minor issues and she immediately handled them. The view is terrific.
It's in a good location. It is 10 mins walking distance to Baquedano metro and 5 minutes walk to Patio Bellavista restaurant heaven if you are into good food at tourist prices. Yum. However, we could not find a grocery store nearby and had to take the metro or taxi to reach it. The neighborhood seemed perfectly safe. Every Sunday during our stay the city would cordon off the main street in front for bikers or runners for a few to more hours. This caused pause for one taxi driver taking us home on a Sunday.
We only experienced a few knocks. There is street noise, but it's not really that bad and you can close the doors/window to shut it out completely. We were hear in end of summer which was warm-hot and needed the windows open. There is a fan in the apt thankfully, and found we didn't need AC. The internet that we relied on for work was pretty spotty and slow unfortunately but there were other free/open hotspots available. In general, we also wish Chileans would discover dishwashers! But we suspect they are little used due to expense, space, and energy use.
All in all, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend staying here.
I had a great time staying in Manuel's apartment. It is very modern but appointed in a very trendy way which is super comfortable. It has a lovely balcony with an amazing view to the Andes, especially at sunset. It is very close to Baquedano metro station (from where you can go anywhere in the city) and the Bellavista neighbourhood of restaurants and bars is only a few streets away. Highly recommended!
Manuel's apartment is the perfect place to stay to visit Santiago. Very clear, clean and centrally located, with beautiful views of the city and the mountains.
The building is brand new with 24h security and a lovely garden.
We received a very warm welcome by Manuel's sister Cecilia, who's lovely and extremely kind! She had filled the fridge, with water, milk for our son and a good bottle of wine for us.
We had a very good time in the apartment and we enjoyed Santiago a lot.
We strongly recommend staying in Manuel's Apartment
If you come to Santiago you cannot decide on a better strategic spot than Manuel's apptmt. - based on the tip of the triangle of Bellavista, Centro and Providencia. Welcomed by Manuels kind and helpful sister Cecilia I moved into a brandnew and modern place with a great view to the Andes. All mod cons included (Wifi, washing center, top kitchen, ...) plus the 24 hour door men were sweet and helpful as can be. As far as my special travel time requirements Manuel was very flexible, too. Muchas gracias!
