i enjoyed my stay here so much! i stayed here with my boyfriend for only a night but i wish we could stay longer! June and Richard made us feel like home, the breakfast were very nice, the house is very cosy and clean (just exactly how it appeared on the pictures!), June gave provided some nice recommendations for us to visit. it has a very nice beach area just outside the house too! if any of my friends is coming to GOR, I would definitely recommend them to stay here! it is definitely one of the nicest holiday accommodation that i have stayed in so far! ;)
just want to say thank you so much for the hospitality!
June and her hubby were absolutely warm and welcoming when we arrived at night. Tilly, the dog was adorable too! Really clean and tidy place to stay. It was really kind of them to allow us to wash and dry our clothes at their place. My friends and I especially loved the homemade breakfast! Would really recommend everyone coming to Torquay to stay here :)
June & Richard's accommodation was fantastic, the room and amenities were all 10/10 and they definitely made us both feel at home!
A great breakfast was included and the location was super convenient!
June and Richard are gracious hosts，The room is very cozy， My son and daughter enjoyed playing with the cat and dog，Breakfast was also lovely.
It was indeed a good experience staying with June and Richard. Though we didn't spend enough time at the place and Torquay, we feel warmth welcome and decent people.
We were given nice spacious bedrooms and spotless bathroom matching hotel standards.
Great recommendation for dinner and we had our first fresh organic apple cider and great local beer. We are happy with the stay. Cheers.
I was amazed at how much space we got. There was two bedrooms, a bathroom and a toilet, as well as some space in the backyard. June and Richard were both very friendly. We were out and in pretty quickly so didn't get to get to know them much, but they gave some good advice on where to go in the area and a lovely breakfast. The room was very nice and the bed comfy. I would recommend staying here, good value.
A very welcoming stay with Richard. I would have loved to meet June as she has been the one corresponding on bookings and all but unfortunately she was away at the day of my arrival. Good conversations and good company from Richard and his lovely cat and dog. Definitely a recommended stay.

About the Host, June
We've always appreciated meeting new people and offering hospitality. Having people stay completes our home. Like most Australians, Richard and I have travelled and love staying with local people. So we enjoy helping others have the same experience: feel safe and at home while taking in the beautiful and varied environment of Torquay.
From here you can drive to sights as far as the Twelve Apostles.
A part-time sociologist/artist and a consulting engineer, we are easy going. Love to boogie board, walk our dog, read (Wolf Hall and Birds Without Wings are still my favourites) and dance.
