We stayed with June for one night. We arrived late but this was not a problem. June and her husband were extremely hospitable and friendly. The accommodation was perfect and everything we needed was provided for. She gave us good recommendations on things to do. Her place is definitely child friendly and our little one enjoyed playing with her cat and dog. We would definitely recommend her place if you're in Torquay. Breakfast was also lovely - homemade yoghurt, granola, croissants, coffee and tea. Divine :)
a very memorable experience . June and Richard were very nice hosts and they made all efforts to make us feel much at home . the property is immaculately clean
Incredibly helpful Hosts! Place very clean , very confortable and in a great position. I hardly suggest it!
June and Richard are very lovely hosts and their home is a luxury stay for travellers. Spotless clean, with tasteful and new furniture, lovely illumination, very comfy bed, high quality linen, soft towels and maximum of privacy as you got your own part of the house - it was a perfect airbnb stay for us - we highly recommend it!
We stayed 2 nights and June and Richard welcomed us very friendly, June gave us a lift from the train station and took the time to show us Geelong on the way to Torquay, what we highly appreciated.
June and Richard provide a wonderful breakfast with homemade granola and jam, fruits, croissants and tea or coffee - it was all amazing and we loved it!
Torquay is a small and lovely town and Junes and Richards house is only a 5 minute walk from the beach and only 10 to the town centre with shops and restaurants. The neighbourhood is very quiet, so a relaxing sleep is guaranteed.
Thanks, June and Richard for a wonderful stay with you and all the best for you and your cute pets :-)
June & Richard is a lovely host, they are warm and welcome. We have so to talk about art, design and technology. The house was spacious and clean, the courtyard is amazing. Our room is nice and clean, we got a nice specious bath room plus a powder room. They have a lovely dog named Matilda and a cat who sloop on the top of Microwave all the time. On top of that, June and Richard spoiled us with a homemade granola, yogurt and jam. The overall experience is more than what we expected. We highly recommend to stay with them.

We've always appreciated meeting new people and offering hospitality. Having people stay completes our home. Like most Australians, Richard and I have travelled and love staying with local people. So we enjoy helping others have the same experience: feel safe and at home while taking in the beautiful and varied environment of Torquay.
From here you can drive to sights as far as the Twelve Apostles (2.5 hours).
A part-time sociologist/artist and a consulting engineer, we love to boogie board, walk our dog, read (Wolf Hall is still my favourite) and dance.
