June and Richard were great hosts, always keen to provide great advices about things to do and see around. The house is comfortable and clean, the breakfast yummy and healthy. Definitely a great place to stay!
June and Richard were very hospitality. They showed us how to use kitchen and provide the breakfast for us in early morning. Their house is very clean and tidy, beautiful and lovely. we were very happy to stay for one night. Best wished from Qing, Jerry, Nala and Ryan.
June and Richard were the perfect hosts; both were warm, friendly and very hospitable. The room was lovely and the bed was AMAZING (better than our own!!). The private bathroom was also spotless and being able to take a bath was bliss. Small touches such as tissues, a hair dryer and local maps/recommendations didn't go unnoticed nor did the delicious home - made breakfast. The location in Torquay is just a few minutes walk from the town and beach. Highly recommend!
Our hosts greeted us warmly with an offer for tea and then chatted with us awhile about the highlights of the neighborhood which is but a few blocks of the Torquay Esplanade. Our bed and the furnishings were wonderful as was the sparkling clean bath and powder room. We had a delightful breakfast and very specific and helpful guidance about how to proceed down the Great Ocean Road. The icing on the cake was great conversation with both June and her husband. Lovely beyond words was the whole experience.
We had a fantastic stay with June and Richard. Right from the start through to the phone call to remind us we had left our cake in the fridge, we had a great experience! They are warm and welcoming hosts, and have a lovely home. The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. We had a great chat with them both, and were sorry to have to leave! Communication was clear and prompt, and they were flexible when we arrived later than expected. Great recommendations for Torquay too, we will return!
June and Richard were kind enough to receive us late in the evening, at a last minutes' notice.
They are perfect hosts and offer a great place at an ideal location.
Sure to stay there when visiting Torquay again.

We've always appreciated meeting new people and offering hospitality. Having people stay completes our home. Like most Australians, Richard and I have travelled and love staying with local people. So we enjoy helping others have the same experience: feel safe and at home while taking in the beautiful and varied environment of Torquay.
From here you can drive to sights as far as the Twelve Apostles.
A part-time sociologist/artist and a consulting engineer, we are easy going. Love to boogie board, walk our dog, read (Wolf Hall and Birds Without Wings are still my favourites) and dance.
