  • We had an excellent 9 days at Maggie's place. It felt like coming home every day! The place was clean and the location was perfect only if you want to climb Koko Head, go to Hanauma Bay, Sandy Beach, Waikiki, Makapu'u Lighthouse and beach, or any of the rest of the island. We enjoyed our visit immensely and can't wait to return to visit Maggie and the dogs!

  • Large room, very comfortable bed, bar fridge in our bedroom, and a private bath made our stay very pleasant. Don't expect a brand new facility. Our first impression was a bit disappointing, but everything was clean and we soon realized that the combination of a wonderful host, friendly dogs, a great location and the other guests that we were able to chat with made the whole experience a positive one. No regrets on our 7 day stay.
Maggie made available any accessories she had on hand: beach chairs, body board, beach towels, beach mat, small foam cooler. This was much appreciated and avoided the hassle of bringing our own, or the added expense of purchasing them.
We were a bit intimidated by the dogs barking when we arrived, but soon realized how affectionate and docile they were.
Maggie shared her knowledge of the island so we could plan our day trips properly and maximize our time. We enjoyed the time talking with her about the local culture.

  • Maggie was very nice. The room was fine and the house was on a very quiet street. There was no way to lock our room when we left for the day, which felt a little weird but we did not have a problem. The yard is in definite need of a little love.

  • Thank you Maggie for having us in your home. We were gone most of the daytime, but your place was exactly what we needed... a beautiful, serene, clean home to come back to and sleep after a day of sight seeing. We were amazed at how very quiet it was, a great nights sleep. Your location was also perfect for us.

  • Thank you, Maggie! We loved our stay. Really glad we stayed there the whole week instead of breaking it up. Every morning we woke up and looked out the windows at the water, palm trees, and foggy mountains and had to pinch ourselves to make sure it wasn't a dream! Maggie was so friendly, helpful, and sincerely kind to all her guests. She has plenty of sunscreen, condiments, spices, etc. We always found street parking near her home. Sweetest dogs ever. Beautiful area. Wonderful host!!!

  • We've had the most terrific time, staying with Maggie. The house was charming, cozy and filled with tranquil energy. We could not have asked for better host than Maggie. She made us feel welcome and comfortable and was happy to assist to make our stay enjoyable. There were two adorable Labradors that we could not help but falling in love with. They greeted us at the front gate, whenever we've come back and made us feel like VIP"S. Our room was very spacious and had water and mountain views coupled with sound of wind chimes-made our stay truly magical and unforgettable. We would love to come back if we are ever back in Hawaii and would recommend it to others.

Maggie was super kind and helpfull, I'd recommend this place to everyone.
All the best beaches on the island were close, also shopping and eating places are around the corner, and just a few minutes drive from Honolulu.
If you wanna come to Hawaii, look no further...
    Thanks again for everything.

  • Staying with Maggie was wonderful. She is very nice and did everything she could to make my stay convenient and comfortable. She was also very accommodating when I asked if I could do laundry. The neighborhood is quiet and the back of the house faces a waterway with private docks. Her two dogs are sweet and they have the run of the house. The room was comfortable and since it is separate from the house, it's a converted patio, I hardly saw or heard the other guests. I was glad the room had air conditioning though because when I was there in July, it was humid. I am from Oahu and I chose not to impose on my family and friends. Staying with Maggie was an amazing experience. She might not be from Hawaii but she understands and lives the Aloha Spirit. The next time I go home, I will not hesitate to stay with Maggie again. Mahalo Maggie, a hui ho, until next time.
